Eikonic is less than a day away from launch!

We wanted to take this moment to thank everyone who has supported us along this journey and can't wait to show what we have in store for you!

The basic rundown: Eikonic is a Tactical JRPG-style Trading Card Game where players take on the role of a powerful Eikon, build their forces, and battle it out with their opponents to see whose influence will shape the world.

It features positional mechanics, movement, and our unique "Combat Compass" that shows each unit's area of effect on the battlefield, and allows players to strategically combine their units' power to take on enemy forces.

Eikonic was heavily inspired by games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, Unicorn Overlord, Jeanne D'Arc, Naruto, and Duelists of the Roses.

We're really excited to see what you all think of this exciting experience and can't wait to find out which of you will become the ultimate Tactician!

What is Eikonic?

It's a Tactical JRPG style TCG. (Think Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Jeanne D'Arc, Triangle Strategy, Etc)

Players take on the role of a powerful Eikon, build their forces, and go to battle in an all out war to see whose influence will shape the world 🌎

Combat focuses around using your units in tandem to fight as a party, as well as our unique "Combat Compass" (top right of the card) that shows each unit's area of effect on where they can attack enemy units, or assist friendly units in battle.

Jason Kiantoro debuts in Eikonic TCG with "Jae Ying, Unifier of Nations".

You may recognize his style as he's recently done a lot of work for Wizards of the Coast on MTG.

Jason's style is unique and refined, bringing an air of mystique, wonder, and life to his works.

We couldn't be happier to have him be a part of this journey!

Above you will see "Jae Ying" in both her Super and Eikonic rarities. Super Rares have gold foil stamping on the card name, keywords, and all stats (including the combat compass and costs) on a card. Eikonic rarity pieces are full-art/frame breaks that feature the same gold foil stamping principles, but the added bonus of a gold-stamped artist's signature as well!

In light of recent events, we wanted to provide the sketch-to-finish process of our most recently previewed Eikon.

We at 4th Order LLC pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and work hard to ensure we're delivering an amazing product created by humans.

​

Our lead designer is a core member of the art team as well, and everyone is working their hardest to bring you a game worthy of your time and attention.

We do not use AI in our artwork. Every piece is drawn by the lead designer, or a commissioned piece from other, human artists (we even have some traditionally-created pieces in the game as well!) 🎨

Which card and/or image do you think is better?

Context: Eikonic TCG is a Tactical JRPG played with cards! Players take on the role of a powerful Eikon and employ their will onto the grid-like battlefield while controlling space utilizing each Unit's unique "Combat Compass" (top right).

The compass determines a Unit's area of effect, and allows for the player to form parties and battle enemies through clever use of this system.
