(19FTM) Glow up or glow down? Advice welcome!

Last pic is my old cut, first three are what I did last night! I’ve gotten a few different reactions and if anybody has any advice, I’d welcome the tip! I personally really like it, but I also don’t necessarily know that it matches my vibe, lol.

Added thing I’m willing to take advice for if you guys are willing: do y’all think I should dye it gray/black? I’ve been thinking about it!

Thank y’all in advance!

Did they ever make carrying cases that would hold a DS and a 3DS?

I have had my 3DS practically since they came out (and it's pink to prove it; I loathe the color of it now, lol). I also have a hot pink case to carry it and the games. My parents were very big on pink for me, hah.

Recently, I was given a DS (ALSO PINK), but I'm struggling to find a way to transport them both. Did they ever make a case that would fit both of them? And if so, what would I need to look up to find them? My searches thus far have come up with zero results.

I'd even be willing to grab a pink one, if it boils down to it, lol. Thank y'all in advance.

How long do the fireworks normally last?

This is my first summer in Springfield, and my dog and I are both pretty frightened by fireworks (him more so than me). When do they typically stop in this area, especially at the baseball field? Just want to be prepared for how long my dog will probably go without going outside. Thank y'all in advance!

Hungrier now that I'm vegan?

Vegan for about three/four weeks now. I've noticed that since going vegan, I get hungry much faster, even when eating a fairly decent amount of food. I've always eaten very lightly, as I get full fast, but I used to go fairly long without feeling hungry, and now it's every three-four hours. Is this normal? Should I be doing something different?

Springfield Buy Nothing?

Hey y'all! Would anybody be interested if I were to set up a Springfield Buy Nothing subreddit? Just an idea so we can all save a little money and help each other out!

For any who don't know, a Buy Nothing group is a hyper-local community, usually organized by neighborhood or zip code, through which members give away things they no longer need and request items they need, entirely for free. No buying, no selling, no bartering. Just neighbors sharing what they have with other neighbors.

I would love to set one up if people would be interested!

Edit: Made one! r/SpringfieldBuyNothing

Very rough, as this is my first time on the maker side of things. Any tips appreciated!

Newly diagnosed

Hi there! I (19, FTM) just got diagnosed with OCD. I had vaguely thought I might have it, but I figured it was just the anxiety I had previously been diagnosed with being extra loud. However, one of my best friends who has been diagnosed for years asked me to go get checked out, and what do you know? My doctor claimed that I was on the low side of things, which I suppose means I have a milder case? I was taken off my SSRI and put on a mood stabilizer, which is fine, because clearly the SSRI wasn't helping. All in all, I was mostly just wondering what advice y'all would give to someone who only just recently got diagnosed, or if anybody knew of any good resources for further understanding of the disorder? Thank y'all in advance.

M4A, tentatively searching for a roleplay buddy

Hi there. My name is Archer (he/him), and I am nineteen years old. I have been roleplaying since I was twelve, and up until very recently have had the same roleplay partners for all of those years. Unfortunately, back in February, my best friend/main rp buddy and I had a major fallout, leading to me feeling uncomfortable roleplaying with any of our mutual friends or with the artform in general for a very long time. However, I feel ready to give it another go, but want to be very clear that I may end up not being as ready as I think I am. I will 100% communicate this to you if we end up trying to roleplay and I discover I still am not emotionally able to handle it yet, and I will not simply ghost you.

Now that the relatively sad part is out of the way, hi! I am looking for semi-lit to lit rp in either a fantasy, sci-fi, historical, or contemporary based setting (I'm not picky and have PLENTIFUL OC options for any of this). If you would rather do something fandom based, I am also down for Sonic the Hedgehog. Also open to any other settings/fandoms as long as we discuss beforehand and I know enough about the subject manner (willing to research)!

I love to talk OOC and would be happy to discuss your day, hobbies, pets, etc. Due to my work and class schedule, I may have moments where I am slow to respond, but you can expect at least three responses every day, if not far more, and I will let you know if that changes on any particular day. Quality over quantity!

I hope we can rp together! I can't wait to meet you :3

Protein tips?

Hi there! I am a new vegan just seeking a bit of advice while starting out! My partner and multiple of my friends are a bit concerned that I won't get enough protein on a vegan diet, since I have multiple chronic illnesses and already probably don't eat as much as I should. I've brought up the nutritional value of beans and, my favorite, nuts, but they still are very skeptical and concerned (not about veganism in general, just about me specifically, lol). Does anybody here have any advice for ensuring a beginner is getting enough protein? Thank you!

What to do with non-vegan products?

So, I am a fresh, FRESH vegan, as in just yesterday finally making up my mind and attempting to find good recipes to begin trying that do not include animal products, etc. I was skeptical on the removal of bee byproducts, just because I did not fully understand the methods used to collect honey. Now that I know, I am determined not to buy any more beeswax products! However, about a month or two ago, I did purchase some beeswax wraps to keep my sandwiches in rather than a plastic container. I'm willing to switch to cloth sandwich wraps (or any other more sustainable ways to bring my lunch to work), but I am confused on what I need to do with the former beeswax products, or any other clothing products, etc., that I might need to get rid of (for example, the leather jacket that I thrifted a while back. Do I donate it back? Is there a sustainable way to dispose of it? Should I keep wearing it, since I got it secondhand?). And furthermore, I'm having a difficult time figuring out in general if veganism seems to be against wearing animal products in general, since synthetic materials also seem to be bad for the environment. Any advice or clarification helps!

Places to take my dog?

I am soon to be adopting my first fully-mine dog (I grew up with dogs in the home, but he will be my first dog to be entirely my own now that I’m moved out of my parents’ house), and I’m really excited! I really want to include him in a lot of my daily life, so I was wondering if there were any not pet-centric places (like pet stores or dog parks) that I can bring him along as my little buddy? Such as grocery stores that would allow him in, places I might be able to get him a pup cup, etc. Thanks!

Marked as spoiler in case this topic makes anybody dysphoric.

I love wearing my binder, but I deal with a lot of chronic pain issues that make it less than sustainable for my body. I take the padding out of my sports bras and wear those, but I feel as though they’re not compressing my chest like they claim to do. What sports bras do y’all recommend for the days where you don’t bind? Of course, I know I won’t be completely flat chested without (or sometimes even with) my binder.

Sizing information: >!Size roughly 36B, if that matters.!<

Hi there! I’m FTM looking to begin HRT. I worry about doctors at Mercy or Cox being unwilling to prescribe testosterone for my transition. Are there any other transmascs in the area who are seeing a Springfield doctor for their HRT?

Update: I have now scheduled an appointment with Dr. Asare at CoxHealth! Thank you to everyone who had recommendations. I haven’t seen anybody mention her by name, so please wish me luck (and if anyone has any negative experiences with her in this capacity, please let me know)!
