So, I rarely had to do RMAs for PC parts but from my experience, certain brands are much better than others at that and I would like to know your own experiences as well.

For instance:

EVGA: Paid for return shipping but got a brand new PSU back.

Corsair: You give a "safety" deposit, they send you a refurbished unit and once you return your old one with the provided shipping label, they refund the deposit in full.

Not just PC parts but even keyboards and mice could be sent back used with someone else "hand cheese"...

Logitech: Very unresponsive from my experience, had to cancel the payment because I was getting no answer. Luckily I was still on the 3 months window to do that.

Seagate: Was pretty good, I don't know if this is still the case but their advanced replacement was rock solid and they also used to offer free data recovery with certain drives.

Western Digital: Tried to RMA a drive once and there was a lot of friction, the page refused to work, it was during COVID so I don't know if this is still the case. Customer service notoriously started to suck after that period.

AsRock: Never tried an RMA but apparently even if out of warranty, they can do repairs for a certain price which can be nice if you don't have repair shops in your area.

What are your experiences? The best and worst ones?

So at an interval of every few hours on Firefox, Microsoft copilot (part of my uni ms-account), will create a (what I assume to be) re-login pop up window that appears and disappears in a split second.

That was annoying and a little shady to begin with but recently after I opened my account in a container tab I had a bug that suddenly opened hundreds of these ms pop ups and created memory issues, I had to refresh Firefox and restore what I wanted from my previous profile.

Now my questions are: Is there a way to prevent these pop ups? Is it related to the "stay logged in" option or just Microsoft being Microsoft?

It seems odd as other sites don't need that to remain logged in... I had this behaviour on different machines using Firefox.

Hi, folks so around a year ago I added a WD gold to an EXOS only array and when monitoring the temps the WD Gold is often running 8 to 10 degrees Celsius cooler than any of my exos drives even if I swap positions.

Obviously, this is clearly not enough empirical evidence to make a definitive statement but I wanted to know what was the experience of other users since I have only one and I am probably not going to buy drives anytime soon.

If it was running consistently cooler, that would be something to consider on my next purchase.

So 7 months ago, I bought one of your more expensive power supply models, straight from the online store, the RM1000X.

It recently failed and I initiated the RMA process last Friday and this Monday the replacement unit showed at my door which is fast, prompt and what I needed, nothing to say on this.

My only complaint here is that my power supply was in a pristine like new condition and the replacement unit was full of dents and scratches.

Now I understand that it is part of your policy that if the customer owned the item for more than 60 days, you offer refurbished replacements, but I just wished you did a little effort to send products that actually look like new or not so used...

For instance the products you sell as refurbished in stores like Canada Computers look brand new and I could never tell the difference.

Now if a person that took care of their unit and planned to sell it receive one like I did, it will greatly diminish the resale value and it is a bit annoying.

Imagine returning a 7 month old phone still looking new and then being returned a unit full of dents and scratches.

PS: Don't use black nail polish to try to cover the scratches xD, honestly you should consider replacing the casing at the very least so it looks decent.

Hi folks, I was wondering, during the RMA process, international customers have to also print 3 copies of a custom's invoice and sign it.

The issue with that is when you click the provided link, it just redirects you to the homepage. I heard the phone support is dead now so I sent an email to Support@EVGA.com.

Why not just have a working URL so we can avoid the phone and sending e-mails entirely. Are you trying to make RMAs more difficult for the customer without reason?

If it was a working link, that package would already be on it's way to California...

In the meantime, Corsair in comparison, will send you a brand new unit before you even return yours and will cover shipping both sides, which is something I will greatly consider next time I buy a PSU.

Honestly I was taking a glance at the specs, and I really hope these rumours are not founded...

For the base pro model: less RAM , smaller battery, the camera seems to be the same, the only improvement I can see is more storage for the entry pro model. That being said the phone will also be more expensive than the 10 when it came out...

For the regular model: Same RAM, same camera, ever so slightly better battery for the entry model.

So is this tensor G6 chip that much better to justify an upgrade here?

Personally there are a few ones I would like to see movies made for like:

The war where the Saiyans took over the Tsuful and maybe the whole backstory of when they are still primitive as mentioned in the Dragon Ball dictionary page 36 (french edition), where they refer to them as the "Genshi Sayajin".

(Wonder if that book only came out in Japanese and French or does it have an English version?)

DBGT touches that a little bit with the Baby arc but that would be a nice extra.

Another interesting one could be the whole backstory where the original Buu absorbed that Kaioshin and Babidis Father? I don't know if there is enough for an OAV here though but seeing the Demon Realm in Daima made me thought maybe this could be cool.

The full backstory of Frieza's family and how they came to rule the universe could've been dope as well but only if they had to fight another ruling family to get there and I feel like Frieza has been used a lot more than other aspects of the franchise so I wouldn't call that unused.

Sometimes I have trouble seeing them always going back to the end of the Buu arc and trying to kick start the story again from there and would love to see the franchise exploited in other ways. It feels like these adults who remain nostalgic about that one period of their lives and never seem to get out of it.

We had 3 of these types of continuations already and they all had interesting elements and frowned upon stuff so I would love to see something else. What about you?

• If you rename your pack I don't care but please give us the real strain name in the back.

• Most of the weed I buy is way too dry on arrival.

• Nowadays if you want to get the premium stuff, you have to spend over 200$ for an ounce, sure you can run into the occasional great deal but for the most part the 120$ ounces generally don't taste as good.

• Hash and edibles are overpriced and that hash limit is stupid. The 28g flower limit in itself is not very useful as I can just walk in and walk out of the store.

• We cannot see or smell the product before purchase.

• Since legalization a lot of people make stupid cannabis rules or use that as collateral to take revenge on a neighbour, etc. I'm not even an indoors smoker.

• There is no after sales service, once there was a bug on the site saying the transaction failed and my order was placed 3x, when I called they cancelled the extra 2 but refused to refund the extra delivery fees, I had to call my bank for a charge back. The guy on the phone was a real ass hole too.

• If you buy a shitty pack and open it, you are pretty much fucked even though that's the only way to find out if you got some good stuff.

• That's not counting all the other times my card got declined just because I wanted to use a different e-mail...

Hi folks so as I started this game I haven't played in a while on my newer GPU and display, I had some HDR issues where it would not be re-enabled properly after running the game so I came up with this one line in the Steam launch options which could maybe help others?

On Playnite it's an included feature to be able to run commands before and after but on Steam you have to play a little bit with your line.

I only needed this small footprint open-source tool added to my path:

If you don't add it to path you will have to change this line and specify the full path of hdrcmd in it.

cmd /c "pwsh -command hdrcmd off & start /wait "" %command% +com_skipIntroVideo 1 & pwsh -command hdrcmd on"

The +com_skipIntroVideo is just there so I can skip intro videos as well if you don't like that you can take it off.

I hope this helps and sorry if someone posted something similar already.

This also works very well with emulators like the one for the Wii U where HDR isn't supported.

So as I was in the end game you can see this PS1 game box with the name Brickstone and I was wondering if this was an actual release.

There is no mention of it online except for this forum post on GameFaqs where someone says 10 years ago:

"Great game.

Especially level 8 with the big baby."

So is it real or is it not?

I mean this is the first time where I can't actually confirm a PS1 game exists generally that stuff is well documented with a unique code for each game.

Maybe this is just a prop for the game and that old forum post was wrong?
