iOS 26.6 report after a week
All smooth from 26.5.2. Battery life is a tad better (average screen time is up about 15 minutes) but otherwise the massive list of security fixes is much appreciated. Speed/performance difference is not really noticeable.
Looking forward to the backend optimizations of iOS 27 in about a month and half.

macrumors.comIs the 7500X3D+B850 bundle also going to go up in price soon?
NOTE: I am NOT talking about the entire bundle with RAM. That bundle did increase by $50 so now it's $400 due to the single stick of RAM increasing by that much.
The actual 7500X3D+B850 without RAM bundle is still $250, but it was $200 earlier this year. I had been waiting for it to drop back to that price but I can't tell if this is something that will go up or down.
For those curious, I already have a pair of OEM DDR5-5600 2x16GB sticks lying around.

newegg.comDoes your 5800X3D 10th anniversary have the 1900 FCLK hole?
A longstanding issue with all AM4 is many (most?) have a hole at 1900 FCLK where PC will not post. Some of this can be remediated by increasing VSOC but not always.
I am curious for any RAM overclockers if the 1900 FCLK hole still exists?

Original 5800X3D vs 5800X3D 10th anniversary?
I know this sounds stupid but given AMD had to reengineer the 5800X3D to fit TSMC's newer bonding process I am curious if there is a difference in maybe heat between the old and new versions... if anyone has both versions...
Apple just raised prices on most things except iPhones... the writing is on the wall...
I'm seriously considering upgrading to the 17e at this point. New iPhones will inevitably get more expensive in the future and with no mini on the roadmap I don't see an easy way out. 17e?

June 14, 2026 / Thaiphoon Burner 17.6.0.0 build 0614
Greetings, my faithful friends!
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Thaiphoon Burner is alive and well! As you might have noticed, late March of this year marked the moment I returned to the project of my life. More than two and a half years ago, I could never have imagined that unforeseen circumstances would force me to abruptly halt all development without any explanation for such a long time. Many still believe that Thaiphoon Burner has been abandoned for good. But that is simply not true, my friends. I have poured my heart and soul into this project, and it means the world to me.
To my surprise, during my absence, not a single alternative has emerged on the software market that could rival the functionality of Thaiphoon Burner. Tech reviewers, bloggers, hardware enthusiasts, and everyday users alike continue to rely on it daily. Your hope and patience have not gone unnoticed! Just like you, I have been eagerly anticipating each new release, driven by the desire to bring something great to the table.
And here it is — Thaiphoon Burner 17.6.0.0. I truly believe you will be excited by the massive amount of updates it packs, all detailed right below.
I want to highlight that over the past month alone, I have been painstakingly gathering and analyzing an enormous volume of data bit by bit: DDR5 memory chips and modules, SPD Hubs, PMIC controllers, EXPO and XMP 3.0 profiles. Hundreds of SPD dumps have been dissected, dozens of datasheets and tech-process analysis reports scrutinized, and countless hardware reviews read in search of valuable insights. All of this was done to ensure that Thaiphoon Burner remains the ultimate, most accurate, and rock-solid tool in your hands!
What's Next? Our future roadmap is clear: SPD Browser built from scratch, completely dropping the old Microsoft Internet Explorer-based WebBrowser component, DDR5 SPD Generator to build firmware, DDR5 SPD Auditor for advanced analysis, scalable font support for modern high-resolution displays.
Thank you for standing by me. The full changelog is provided below.
* Fixed a bug in the full part number generation algorithm for 24-Gbit x16 DDR5 SDRAM memory devices from Micron Technology.
* Added identification for the following Micron Technology DDR5 SDRAM memory devices:
D8DCW - MT60B1536M16RV-56B:B
D8DCX - MT60B1536M16RV-64B:B
D8FSM - MT60B1536M16HZ-72B:C
D8FSN - MT60B1536M16HZ-80B:C
D8GFW - MT60B1536M16HZ-64B:C
D9BXY - MT60B1536M16HD-80B:E
D9BYC - MT60B1536M16HD-88B:E
D9BYF - MT60B1536M16HD-92B:E
* Added new internal Device IDs (DID: Y31A, Y5CB, Y5CK, Y53B, Y62E, Y63C), new DRAM die revisions and process node technology of D1-alpha, D1-beta and D1-gamma for Micron Technology DDR5 SDRAM devices with densities of 16 Gb, 24 Gb and 32 Gb. Revised existing and added new D1a, D1b, D1c technology nodes for SK hynix DDR5 components in accordance with the latest independent analysis reports.
* SPD Browser: expanded dump search criteria to include module capacities of 24 GB, 48 GB and 96 GB, and added two new module types — CUDIMM and MRDIMM.
* Greatly expanded identification of components used on DDR5 SDRAM memory modules, including SPD HUB, PMICs (including server types), RCD/MRCD, clock drivers, temperature sensors and data buffers from Montage, Texas Instruments, MPS, Richtek, Renesas, Rambus, Anpec, Siyuan, GigaDevice, Fremont, ONE Semiconductor and others — identification implemented for 120 distinct component models in total.
* Added decoding of DDR5 SPD bytes in the main window status bar.
* Universal DDR5 Timing Editor: added standard speed bins DDR5-7600, DDR5-8000, DDR5-8400, DDR5-8800 and DDR5-9200, and added editable timing parameters tCCD_M, tCCM_WR and tCCD_M_WTR, in accordance with the latest available revision of JEDEC specification JESD400-5D.01 Document Release 1.4.
* XMP Enhancer mode: the Universal Timing Editor now supports editing the global (header) section of XMP 3.0 profiles — PMIC vendor, number of PMICs used, PMIC voltage step, PMIC OC attributes and other parameters.
* EXPO Editor mode: the Universal Timing Editor now allows selecting one of two PMIC voltage step values — 0.005 V or 0.010 V.
* Improved part number determination algorithm for DDR4 SDRAM memory chips from CXMT, SK hynix and Samsung. Added identification for DDR5 SDRAM component markings from CXMT and Nanya Technology.
* Improved accuracy of package-type detection for SK hynix, Micron, Samsung and Nanya DDR5 SDRAM devices: in addition to 82-ball and 106-all FBGA, identification now includes new DDR5 FBGA package types — 78-ball and 102-ball.
* Significant enhancements to the Product Details editor for DDR5 SPD.
* Improved part number parsing algorithm to detect XPG-series of DDR4/DDR5 modules from ADATA. Added series detection for DDR5 memory modules: Biwin, KLEVV, Acer Predator, Gloway and Asgard.
* Preferences window: added option to use Thaiphoon Burner branded logo as a watermark; this option is enabled by default.
* Per the May update to JEDEC JEP106BO (registered manufacturer ID codes), selectively added new manufacturer IDs for memory-module vendors, primarily of Chinese origin.

The second release after a two-year break.
* Restored the ability to check for the latest program updates and SPD databases and download them from the Files.fm cloud. Implemented a simple, informative update download manager for this purpose.
Added 831 official Micron SPD firmware dumps to the Micron SPD database, of which 745 are for DDR5 SDRAM modules — UDIMM, RDIMM, MRDIMM and others; As usual, Micron removed nearly half of the DDR5 module dumps from their site a week later.
* Added identification for numerous new SPD HUB, PMIC, RCD and temperature sensor models.
* Added identification for over 40 new Micron Technology DDR5 memory device part numbers.
* Bug fixes.
