I’ve been calling for days
I try over and over and cannot get through !

I’ve fax the IRS paperwork that shows I’m receiving section 8 federally funded program from ex chronically homeless veterans
To show my situation

I filed 5 years of tax returns and they going after me hard
. I check online account balance shows 25K
Payments of 600 minimum that’s too much

My housing rent for my portion is 890 .

Housing is paying over 1600$

They seriously don’t expect me to pay as much as my rent !

This will make my situation harder and probably put me on the streets again and loose my section 8 voucher

I have a car loan with them for almost a year . I applied for a refinance with my credit union I got approved . They told me check was sent over last Friday 05/15/26 how long until they received ? Should I call them ? I log in to my account and they haven’t updated it yet in their system ? Like what’s up

Is it true that in California progressive does not offer those discounts that after your renewal your monthly premium will skyrocket. I’m just making sure before I make the switch. Rn I got quoted 240 monthly 6 months . How much will it go after renewal ?

I spoken to the agent yesterday Friday I told him that I wanna apply for CNC status he said with all my bills and everything included. I qualify for it but he wants proof of car maintenance car, gas receives, and car insurance. He’s giving me two months to submit everything through fax . Is that a good sign I don’t qualify for CNC status can I apply for offering compromise? Also do I really need to file six years of tax returns to even apply for cnc status

I’m a chronically homeless veteran on section 8. I told the rep I’m on section 8 and I’m paying child support and I literally got scared and pull out my remaining 6 months of rent cause I’m scared of levy my accounts .

Do I have a good case ? For CNc?
The rep I got didn’t care she straight up offered me a payment plan of 280 a month like dude I cannot do that .

Maybe a different rep would be nicer ?

I wanna apply for cnc !

I called the agent over the phone I explained to her I was homeless for years . Im on section 8 currently. I’m paying child support . I have a car payment . Year of 2025 was the year I’ve made the most money out of my life gross was at 69K .so I decided to file my taxes since I’m stable enough.

But I’m listed with the VA as a chronically homeless veteran I’m with hud Vash

She offered me 280 a month payments I told her I cannot do that.
So what are my options ?

I tried setting up the payment plan long term for 25.00 dollars a month it states I need to do it for 137 the minimum for my required due amount .

What can I do to request a lower amount and set up a payment plan?
