My Baby is Turning 4

Butter was born four years ago. I rescued his mom from an auction in Texas (Bowie). They told us she had Cushing’s, but when she went to the vet to get her strangles test during her checkup, they did an ultrasound of her belly and there he was the size of a St. Bernard and about a month later he was born. We weren’t sure the condition he would be in since his mom was so malnourished and abused but there he was a perfect foal. I run a Horse Rescue where I rehabilitate horses for an equine therapy program or rehome horses nearby that are not fit for the program. However, Butter always be my baby boy and stay right here with me.

I ask the gutter company to run the gutters to the back of the barn, then run the downspout into PVC to fill the horse trough. This is what they did.

I’ve put off replanting her for a long time, but I finally pulled the trigger - how’d I do?

I’m making a wildlife pond for a nonprofit community garden. Where do I start? I’ve watched YouTube but most videos I see don’t start from raw land. Advice is appreciated

Worked hard. Now I get to play hard. Rehabbing 11 acres of land that was logged and invasive blackberries and scotchbroom have taken over. I’m turning it into a community garden and trails.
