Is my PC worth keeping or should I find a newer budget build from Facebook Marketplace?

Build below pulled from old PC Part Picker 2014 account. This has been sitting unused for the last 8~ years, so I'm not sure if I should scrap it or try and build off of it. I just mainly use it for light gaming (think GTA 5, binding of isaac, runescape, roblox) and plan to use it as my WFH work station for bluebeam plan reading, takeoffs, excel data entry, etc. It isn't a huge priority to me to play games above medium settings:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1 GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard: Biostar B85MG Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory: G.Skill Sniper 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3-1866 CL9 Memory

Storage: Seagate BarraCuda 1 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card: Some kind of R9 290

Case: Rosewill THOR V2 ATX Full Tower Case

Power Supply: Corsair CX600M 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

I'd hate to throw away younger me's work but understand if it'd be a cheaper investment to just start over with like a new-er $350~ used build from Marketplace instead of slowly upgrading everything on this

Built my computer back in 2014. Abandoned it in storage but will be picking it back up in a couple months. What is the best upgrade/replacement to my old r9 290 for someone on a budget?

No clue what the specs are on my old computer. I just remember I had a full tower, power supply with all cables (non-modular), regular 1tb hard drive, 8 gigs of RAM, an intel i5 processor, and an r9 290. I think I also had a mini motherboard which was very comical given the full tower size. Never upgraded the cooling or anything. It was like an $800 build back then.

All I really play is GTA 5 or equivalently demanding games. I remember my r9 290 handling the game fine back then.

I'm on a budget, considering my 3rd kid is being born later this fall. What upgrades would be the most meaningful? This would also be half work station. I'm completely open to buying hardware used, especially if it means I can get a really good deal

Live in CO and just wanted to see if AWD really matters all that much. We drive a 4wd truck that'd be traded in and don't really need to kick it into 4wd too often. Maybe like once a year. Is AWD a must have?

My thinking is that I could either go LE AWD or XLE FWD. The AWD models seem to fly off the lots while FWD units seem to sit around for longer. I'm thinking I could probably find a better deal on a FWD model but don't want to compromise performance if there's a significant difference between the two drivetrains
