▲ 3 r/sdcard

Could someone help me out and just tell me which of these 3 cards in my collection is best/fastest/best specs, ignoring the capacity, and why?

They're all spec'd differently and I'm just struggling a bit to get a simple answer or rank of the 3 cards. Thank you so much.

OpenRGB saving colors to my ram hardware when I don't want it to (and when it seemingly isn't supported?)

Here is what I want to do

I want my ram color to be BLACK as the "save to hardware" color, so that when I'm in sleep mode my room isn't rainbow, and then colors I actually want it to show will turn on after boot

I was able to do this in iCue, but open RGB says "saving not supported" for my Corsair Vengeance. I assumed this meant I couldn't save a color to the device via openrgb

Fine I figured, I could save the black to device with iCue and then just use openRGB for software control after boot

Problem is, whenever I load a color profile, it seems to write that color to the ram itself too (so during sleep or boot the ram is on, and matching the color I just loaded)

Apparently saving to hardware is supported after all? Because it's doing it.

Is there a way to change the software control where it won't save to device anymore? So I can have independent control?

I hope that makes sense. Thanks.

How will Dungeons 2 know that I preordered it on steam, to get the cape?

So you preorder dungeons 2, download it on release day, launch and sign in with your Microsoft account. How does the game know you preordered it and didn't just buy it release day?

If I want two twisted capes, do I need to preorder the cape twice?

It's seems the hero cape can be gotten on multiple accounts just by playing dungeons, but since you have to preorder dungeons 2 for twisted, does that means to get 2 you'd need to preorder twice?

I'm seeing alot of posts here about fried cpus. Am I at risk?

I just bought an ASRock Z690M-ITX/ax (LGA1700 socket) for my core i5-13400f

Is this board model, or socket type, or CPU at a known risk? Or is this combo known safe?

I don't know the extent of the issues or reports of people thatre having issues, it only seems to be AMD so maybe intel is ok?

Is there an easy way to "benchmark" all of my various system thermals?

I'm swapping my case, motherboard (so redoing the thermal paste on my CPU) and fans in my setup.

I'm looking for some sort of way to benchmark the thermals in my current setup, and then do it again when I change everything, and make sure it's all the same or better afterwards. Or just see what the difference looks like

im not really looking to stress test my PC, just put some load on it and chart temps from all the various components, and save that to compare to later.

Is there some sort of tool out there that does this? I know there's hardware monitoring tools that display temps but I'm looking for soothing more autonomous, some way to also put load on the system and collect and export the data for analysis later

Thanks!

What is the best LGA1700 DDR4 ITX motherboard I can get?

I'm looking for the best LGA 1700 DDR4 ITX motherboard I can get

I'd also like two m.2, and a 20gb/s front and rear USB c, but I'd expect that to come with the "best" board with that CPU socket and ram type

I have an i5-13400F and rtx 3070 fe

I was thinking of the ASRock Z690M-ITX/ax, but apparently it's a "budget" board that doesn't handle power well? But it's the best I've been able to find so idk what to do. Can't find any others with specs as good.

Any help would be appreciated

Can i5-13400F run DDR4 at 4000mhz

I currently have a 4 stick 3600mhz kit, xmp enabled, it's been running years with no issues. I didn't do anything except enable xmp, and I checked recently and it's running at 3600

I need to go to a 2 stick kit so I got one with RGB and 4000Mhz. Now I'm learning that's quite beyond what is technically supported. What're the chances I can just plug it in, enable xmp, and be good to go? Anyone tried this setup?

If I plug it in, enable xmp, and then check and make sure the ram is actually running at 4000mhz in gear one, and don't encounter any issues, am I all good? That's all I need to check?

Thanks for any insight you can provide

Are there any solid blocks for sending energy through?

I'm looking for basically an energy pipe like mekanism or pipez, but a solid block I can put in my wall

I can't use facades so figured my next best bet is a solid block to send energy into and connect to the pipe on the other side

I could use cyclic battery blocks but I was curious if there was anything that's more of direct transmission. Thanks

Is sand harmful for scooters?

Taking my GT08 near a beach. How much do I need to avoid sand? Worried about it getting into my motors or something

Should I avoid sand on the sideway? Deep or soft sand? What if I wanted to try actually riding on the beach, on hard or soft sand?

Are any of these things and and should be avoided? Obviously I'm not planning on going near any saltwater but driving on sand seems fun, either on trails/sidewalks or trying the beach itself for a few min but don't want to cause any damage

I'm mostly curious about light sand on concrete or trails

Thanks for any info you can procide

I have a perfect collection of every modern cape 😁

Super happy I managed to get the Moonlight and Crafter for super cheap! Just wanted to share

u/ALT703 — 4 months ago

Update: my modern cape collection is complete!

20 capes! Very very happy, and got incredible deals for Moonlight and Crafter ($50 total between the two) extremely thankful to the two people that helped me obtain those two capes

u/ALT703 — 4 months ago

Pretty much "complete" in terms of modern capes until these new ones came around

Happy with my collection

Future of moonlight cape

So moonlight cape codes expire around the 15th I believe, but I thought it was an ongoing event like the previous Minecraft experience?

Do we know anything about if there will be more moonlight locations or codes in the future?

I thought it was going to be an ongoing event like the previous one so prices would drop alot eventually, like before. Now I'm more concerned

Looking to buy a crafter cape, not able to pay much

Hey there, I'm looking to buy a crafter cape code

I can only afford $50 at this time sadly. I'm fully aware this is far below what they're worth, and prices may only go up as the deadline for the codes expiring comes up

I'm not expecting anyone to accept this offer, nor am I owed anything, of course. just throwing it out there in case I get lucky. Dm me on reddit if you're interested for some reason, obviously no pressure. I'm fully aware my chances are very slim. Just in case

Thanks :)
