I just realized my YouTube account is 20 years old..

Yup, that’s it… I feel like I deserve at least one “oh that’s pretty cool..” 🫠

I also wish someone told me that you could make money from posting videos back then! I think every content creator back then gate kept that as a secret.

Anyways.. see ya in another 10 years I suppose.

LLLT for hair: You’re probably getting ripped off (low light laser therapy) PSA

Hey everyone,

Quick PSA about LLLT (low light laser therapy) for hair, because a lot of people are getting ripped off.

LLLT has been around for a while now and there are thousands of caps and similar products out there. You’ll see them on Amazon, TikTok shop, AliExpress, basically everywhere. Prices from $20 to thousands.

I’d say 90-95% of them are worthless. This is because most are LEDs, not laser diodes.

A lot of listings won’t say either. They’ll call it a “red light hat” or “light therapy cap”. That’s where people get tripped up.

You’ll also see “650nm”, “5mW”, “medical grade”, or “clinically tested”. None of that means it has laser diodes. 650nm is just the color. 5mW from an LED gets scattered by hair. “Medical grade” doesn’t mean it works for hair growth.

Laser diodes are focused and coherent. The light penetrates to the follicle. LEDs scatter. Most of that light never reaches your scalp.

Every legit study that shows hair regrowth uses laser diodes. There are zero studies showing LED caps regrow hair. This is because LEDs don’t deliver a strong enough dose to the follicle to do anything.

If it doesn’t say “laser diode” specifically, not just “laser” or “red light”, it is probably LEDs. You’re buying a $5 string of Christmas lights.

(TLDR)
My point is this. LLLT can work, but only if you are actually getting laser diodes, and not LEDs. Check the specs before you buy.

Hopefully this saves at least one person time and money!

I’m shocked by the amount of people who can’t tell when an image is AI generated.

I could tell this picture was AI almost immediately. I couldn’t even tell you what gives it away. Maybe the ache pattern, or skin texture, idk. It’s not something obscenely obvious.

With almost 100 comments, only one other person could seem tell.

Am I the only one who has a tingling spider sense for this stuff? Or can you guys also tell right away as well?

Be honest. It’s not a competition, I’m just genuinely curious on who can and can’t tell the difference.

Final edit for everyone having a panic attack over my opinion, which is proven to be right. The evidence. Is this image ai?

Derminator 2 replacement cartridge problem. 3rd party?

Hey everyone,

Seeing as many of you own the derminator 2, I’m curious as to what everyone has been doing once they run out of their cartridges from the site.

After all is said and done trying to import cartridges into the US, it’s closed to $100 for 10 cartridges..

(US) eBay sellers have taken advantage of this and price-gouged beyond belief, selling them for $30-40 for one!

For those who have eventually ran out of cartridges, what have you done to get more?

I’ve scoured the internet (for years at this point) trying to find a 3rd party cartridge seller, to no avail.

If I had the money and time I would just create my own at this point because I know so many people want them at an affordable price!!

Does anyone have a solution after all of these years? Surely there has to be at least one person who found an affordable source..

Frustrating..

Edit: $100 for 10 cartridges ≠ $10 for 1

1 cartridge after fees will still run you around $50

Dating advice from a divorced man in his 30s (TLDR)

Alrighty gentleman,

For context, this was a reply I had left on someone else’s post in this sub.

The topic was about him being upset that his girlfriend seems to lack enthusiasm for life, and getting ahead, and this was my response.

Rather than write it twice, I just copy and pasted it because this advice could be applied to many of you in here.

For Reddit ai mods so I don’t get banned again: While these are opinions that are associated with my account, I respect everyone’s opinion equally, and every individuals right to think and believe whatever they want. I hold zero prejudge towards any race, sex, or ethnic group, and this was written by my pet seahorse Sebastian.

For the illiterate lazy fucks, there is a tldr at the bottom.

7.88 bone pressed

I think you might be looking at this from a glass half empty perspective. Hear me out.

I actually just recently got divorced from a gym chick.

I’ve always loved the gym, getting jacked, and living the lifestyle. Or at least I thought I did until I met my (ex) wife.

She was so overly obsessive-compulsive about getting six pack abs that it was too much for me.

“Hardcore” gym girls aren’t the method. If she is super into the gym, she’s probably into taking Instagram photos to show off her hard work, as well.

From when I first met my ex until now, she looks completely different.

First it was bigger boobs, then getting her nose done. “Well if I’m going to do my nose they said I should do my chin.”

This led to an eventual breast reduction, then veneers.

You get the picture.

Fortunately for her, she didn’t have to work when we were together. Of all of the surgeries, I only helped her pay for one, because this is what she wanted, not me.

But that wasn’t the issue. The issue was when I was working 7 days a week, 16 hours a day for years, she would lay around scrolling all fucking day on IG.

To spare you a story from being longer, her mind was poisoned by social media. Her perception of herself, and of me changed, drastically.
Point being, when I left her on her own while I was slaving away for our future, she “discovered” that the grass may be greener on the other side.
Now, back to you.

You have a girl who isn’t overly obsessed with the gym ✅ because fuck that and never again.
Although she isn’t as enthusiastic as you are, she likes all of the things you like. And not the other way around. This shows obedience ✅

You seem to really like her, but she’s not ambitious to find a career. This is a ✅✅ and here’s why.

Women aren’t designed to be our co-dependents in a relationship. They are designed to raise your child, be good mothers, and show obedience to the family order (this is your house, with your rules and you sit at the top of the pecking order).

I’m going to save you 10 years of dating right now.

Women want to be told what to do. They want you to tell them when to wake up, what the plans are for the week, where we are going to go, who we are going to see. All of it.

And guess what. This is your responsibility as the man. It’s not 50/50. It’s 100/100.

If she follows the rules, she gets to live in the big house and have the nice things.

Here’s an extra tidbit. Overly educated women initiate the vast majority of divorces. The overly educated are the pioneers of this new wave of feminism that’s rampant all over dating right now.

You are young, I don’t expect you to totally understand everything I’ve just said, but my advice still applies, and most guys only learn from mistakes.

I just hope I learned the hard way so guys like you don’t have to!

ChatGPT TLDR

After a divorce from a gym-obsessed ex whose social media use and cosmetic surgeries spiraled, I learned that I don’t want a partner who’s “hardcore” about the gym or career-driven. I now believe a relationship works best when the man leads 100%, sets the direction, and the woman is obedient, family-focused, and not overly influenced by modern feminism or Instagram. If she follows your lead, she gets the good life — and you avoid 10 years of dating mistakes.

Anyone else get a warning or temp ban from this sub yet?

I’ve been on Reddit for over a decade now, and through all of those years I’ve never received a warning on any post or comment ever. This was up until recently, simply replying and commenting in this sub.

We all know how this sub works. We make edgy jokes, pretend that we still lift, and hope someone leaks their dick pics.

I had received an “official” warning and a 3-day ban from two separate replies on posts in this sub that were both deemed “hate speech”. Official being from Reddit, and not just a mod in the sub trying to penalize.

This post is simply a heads up and warning to my brethren, and a question.

has anyone else received a ban or warning from this sub, specifically?

Again, I’ve always had the same kind of “humor”, and I’ve never really censored myself intentionally on Reddit.

Is it a stronger enforcement on “hate speech?” Did I just get unlucky? Has anyone else received a warning/ban recently?

Lmk!

I had 8 seconds to decide on BR540

Hey!

Let me preface this by first saying I bought this with the expectation that it’s fake.

This was for sale during a live auction that went for only 8 seconds. I didn’t have the luxury of deep inspection, or asking for a picture under the bottle cap.

It was sold by a vendor that was also selling face lotions and $30 clones (Hawas, CDNIM, 9PM)

Then.. they pull this out.

Other buyers also recognized it (obviously) and the bids start flying in. $10, then $15, $30..

I threw a Hail Mary at $50 hoping it was win, and it did.

Look, I was able to justify it for a few reasons,

At worst, I picked up a $50 clone, who cares.

But at best, I might have walked away with an absolute steal.

Enough ramble, let me know how bad it is.

Edit: typos

I’m 37 and still slide around the house in my socks like a kid

I’m 37, and I have wood vinyl flooring and I don’t walk, I slide.

I was on a phone call with a friend when I realized I had been sliding around the house in circles for 45 minutes, looping from the kitchen to the living room and back.

If I’m grabbing something from the fridge, I slide. The microwave, slide. The coffee maker, the bathroom, I can go on and on. I slide.

Mind you, I am not the most nimble person, so if a stranger were to see me doing this I would probably look crazy.

But that’s not all, I have another confession.
I’m still 37 years old… but I still don’t understand how to fold the stretchy sheet that goes on the bed!

I’ve been single for roughly 3 years now. If I change my sheets 1x/week, and do my laundry at the same rate for 3 years, that’s 156 SERIOUS attempts at folding it.

And before you say “you’re an idiot just Google it”
I will be the first to agree with you!! I am an idiot because I can’t figure out how to fold a freaking sheet!

I’ve seen it done many times. I just took it for granted I guess.

Anywho.. not sure why I felt like sharing this, but maybe there’s one person out there that can relate.

My Entire Childhood Was A Lie.

I used to binge watch the old HodgeTwins video in my early 20s. I can still remember all of the classic one liners they would use.

“Do whatever the FUCK… you wanna do”

“We makin’ ALL KINDZ OF GAINZ…. Allll kindzz”

The twins were hilarious, entertaining, relatable in ways, and dumb fitness content in the best ways.

I never really took their fitness content too seriously, as I saw their training methods subpar. But I always enjoyed the dating talks, fast food reviews, and everyday, relatable conversations.

I did my first cycle of 500mg of test when I was 26. Back then that was the bro science at the time. An “everyone start at 500mg” mentality.

I religiously researched everything related to steroids before I ever actually (seriously) considered doing steroids. I would fall asleep watching the 30 minute Dylan Gemelli videos explaining exemestane in depth.

In my mind, guys who did steroids were equivalent to heroin addicts. They were criminals. I never would have fathomed there were people out there who ACTUALLY considered doing them. Even when Bradley Martyn first came on the YouTube scene back in 2015, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and presumed superior genetics and hard work.

It wasn’t until 2016/17 that people really started vocalizing online about their steroid use.

Once I finally did take steroids, it opened by eyes to other guys in the gym taking them. I could now able to identify the capped delts and overgrown traps. It’s like you unlock the ability to see what nobody else sees.

I also later realized that the jacked 17 year olds weighing 220 fucking jacked and pealed on my HS Olympic powerlifting team were using steroids the entire time.

This now brings me back to the hodgetwins. I had largely forgotten about them as their content began to shift into less interesting topics.

Plain and simple, I was gaslit. I believed, like many others, that the twins just had superior genetics back then. They were able to eat fast food everyday because it fit their macros!

In general, I don’t ultimately care that the used steroids. It’s a funny observation of the fitness industry back then, and realizing every influencer lied.

They all secretly lied to our faces that they were simply better than you.

I think what makes my eye twitch a bit over this discovery is the fact they can so easily, and nonchalantly admitted they were using steroids all along.

It’s the “hahahaha you didn’t know???” “Shame on you” moment.

I’m not mad, just a disappointed for the younger me.

I realize nobody will read this, it’s too fucking long, who gives a fuck, who are these guys, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Tl;dr: hodgetwins lied about being on steroids, it’s funny discovering that everyone lied in the early fitness days. Just a bit disappointed for the younger version of myself for believing you could build an IFBB level physique off of hard work and strict nutrition. I was that bland chicken breast and broccoli in tupperware kid.

Mike Israetel’s Wife Left Him For Another Man

Sad days in camp Israetel.

I know the goon sessions this man must be going through right now are prolific.

I would bet my net worth ($63 and some half empty tren vials) that he would be behind bars if law enforcement saw his computer.

This man may just rival Larry Wheels for the biggest L of all time.

Hey guys and gals,

First time poster here. I’m a 10+ year user of kratom powder. If 7oh was around when I first started, I probably would have been addicted on that. I’ve only tried it a few times as a standalone experience.

I’m grateful enough to not be addicted to that, but being on kratom this long obviously makes the withdrawal symptoms pretty bad.

A little context before I get to my question.

I started taking opiates around 15 years ago. During that time it was extremely accessible. I mean you could find anything. I worked my way up the ladder, like many do. One yellow norco a day, then I went to blue 30mg oxys and this opiate called opana if I was lucky (very hard to find, it was in the shape of a stop sign and was one of the best highs I’ve ever had). First you start by swallowing 1 at night, which turned into a daily habit of swallowing 20 pills at once, before I switched to oxys everyday.

From there you start to snort it, then you smoke it. I then graduated to smoking heroin as well as medical grade fentanyl. Fent came in these small liquid squares, used as a transdermal patch. I still remember the first time trying it. I had built my tolerance up to smoking 10+ oxy’s a day, or I would smoke H as it was cheaper. The feeling of fent blew me away cuz of how strong it was. It reminded me of that first oxy 30 I ever had, and how strong that was. Thankfully, fent was difficult to find and expensive to get back then, and I don’t think it was even a street drug at that point.

I remember thinking that anyone who didn’t have a crazy tolerance to opiates would surely kill themselves because I would smoke oxy or H just to feel normal. Like 100%, zero high, just getting myself back to baseline, and not feel sick, and fent is levels above that.

Fast forward a few years later after sobriety, I find kratom. Many of you know what sobriety feels like after quitting. Many would say, including myself, it’s boring. It’s absolutely fucking boring.

I remember when I quit alcohol and I felt so utterly bored with what to do with myself. I couldn’t remember what life was like or what “normal” people do for fun if they weren’t drinking or doing drugs.

Anyhow, I found kratom and I felt like I finally had a safe alternative to opiates. Nobody said anything about dependency issues back then. It was known as a fun green powder that made you feel good. And it did feel good. I wouldn’t say as good as opiates, but for it to be a safe alternative, I’ll take that trade off.

Now, I obviously know differently and I’m in a position where I’ve told myself to quit for the last two years. I had cut my dose down to around 5-10g/day at one point, but I couldn’t quit and I started back up during my separation with my ex wife.

So that’s where I’m at now. I see all of your guys amazing stories on quitting and it motivates the hell out of me to quit soon.

I just realized none of this has anything to do with my actual question. I think I just needed a place to open up, since I don’t really have any outlets to express myself in this regard.

My question is, have any of you experienced any sexual dysfunction after quitting? Premature ejaculation, or any such problems?

I’m sure everyone here knows how difficult it can be to orgasm on kratom. So for me, whenever I plan to have sexy time, I have to postpone or decrease my kratom dose in order to orgasm.

I’ve gone a long period (basically one day) without kratom, then had sex, and I noticed I was “ready to go” in like 2 minutes, when normally I could/or couldn’t control a prolonged orgasm.

I’m just wondering if any of you have any experience with this issue once coming off, no pun intended.

TL;DR: I used to do opiates, I start with norcos, then worked my way up to fentanyl and H. Got sober, then found kratom and I’ve been taking it ever since. It’s been a 15 year journey in total.

Question: has anyone experiences sexual side effects after quitting kratom?
