It was fine, I guess. Standout was honestly Aemond saving Alys. Performances were alright.

And lol the "shocking unexpected death" being Luther Largent of all people.

So obviously early screeners are hyping up episode 5 a lot, which is unexpected since we know that several big events happen this season but are in later episodes.

Butchers balls: ep 6 (it’s possible this is episode 5 actually)

Sunfyre resurrection: ep 7

Tumbleton: ep 8

So based on what we know, here’s what im speculating happens in ep 5:

Helaena Dreamfyre scene (shot in preview of Helaena looking up into fire, and leaks have said we have a Dreamfyre scene).

Criston Cole hallucinations at harrenhal (Fabian frankel is noted as a standout performance, and his death is the next episode)

Aegon character arc scene where he reflects on his journey and arc (Tom mentioned as a standout performer. Maybe a friendship scene with Tom tangletongue??)

Mooton soldiers retake rooks rest.

Potential Alys Aemond romance/sex scene.

Sunfyre revealed as alive??(leak had said mooton soldiers stumble on Sunfyre’s lair and are attacked but this may have been from episode 7. Reviewer also said Sunfyre fans will be happy next episode)

Literally the most blatant ragebait ever. Any idiot can make a post titled “CONFIRMED LEAKS” and then type the most random shit and half of you will believe it and mald in the comments lmao.

First reactions to it are out from a lot of critics I follow and all of them are pretty positive on it.

You'd be forgiven for forgetting that Helaena is also a dragonrider.

I would've gladly cut the chickens line or the strong boys line for one where Helaena even so much as acknowledges that she has her own dragon.

Before I list things, I’ll preface by saying that HOTD is not a serious show anymore. It’s nowhere near the same level that Early GOT or other HBO shows like Succession. I’m basically viewing it as a fantasy soap opera now.

So with that in mind, I only want 4 things to happen this season, and if the leaks are accurate, I think they’ll probably happen.

1. Aegon Character Arc - pretty much confirmed with the leaked speech

2. Daeron hype moment with aura, will probably occur during the Tumbleton battle in the finale.

3. Some form of a genuine Alys-Aemond romance, based on Gayle’s comments, I think well actually have a somewhat genuine romantic connection between alys and Aemond where they connect.

4. Helaena giving Rhaenyra at least one symbolic middle finger before dying
