I Didn’t Let My Mental Health Get to Me And I Finally Got Out Of The House | Bipolar, Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD and Autism

As a Black woman and eldest daughter I never felt safe enough to voice that I’m living multiple realities at once and sometimes it gets to me. I’m also working on accepting that I’m different and that it’s okay. Growing up there was an unspoken understanding that I was different and it made me feel alone even if surrounded by people, family etc. That said nowadays I’m embracing community and self love. 🩷 It’s not easy, but I’m trying. First Time Wearing My Natural Hair To A Party | It Felt Nice

Talk about a last minute hairstyle under pressure 🫠🥴. I went to a sapphic 🏳️‍🌈 party and my hair went
well that night. It was my first time wearing it to an event like that and I proved to myself once again that I can wear Asha to a special occasion.

Even Though It’s Summer, I Love Off Season Colors 💋💄

It’s giving winter in the summer time. A new color 🎨 combination I’m happy I tried. I wore this look to my first sapphic party 🎊 🏳️‍🌈💃🏽and it was a good choice for the night.

Run Don’t Walk

I literally fucking learned: if a stem or a stud gives off the ladies man vibe, spirit or energy to go the OTHER way!!!!!! As a fem presenting woman who’s queer; if they give off the vibes that they’re collecting hearts instead of building one. Baby, just pack it up. The initial feeling is nice, but after a while!? 😭😭😫😫😫 ABSOLUTELY THE FUCK NOT. I needed to rant quickly and get this out damn!

P.S. I understand that not every stud or stem is this way and some women cannot help their vibe. I get that, but those who understand, understand. 💆🏽‍♀️

I Discovered Flaxseed Gel | I Fear I Will Not Use Another Pre Poo For A Long Time 👀🥴😬

As a fine haired, low porosity girlie, this is ultimately life changing. Where on God’s green Earth has this been my entire natural hair journey? I basically have African Pre Poo in my kitchen now. I fear I will not go back to a store bought pre poo for a long periodically time 🤷🏽‍♀️😇🥰. The definition, the slip, the detangle, just chefs kiss. I’m thinking about trying it to style Asha (my hair) I’ll come back much later with an update..

Have you tried flaxseed gel? How do you use it? How long have you been using it if you do use it. I sort of feel like a fool for just now discovering this 😭😫. The important part is I have it now.

Thank you for reading 📚.

I Tried a Side Part For The First Time and I Am In Love 🥹🪮➿

I understand that a side part is not much for some. I was very nervous 😬 about stepping out of my comfort zone with this. Plus, I’ve heard👂🏽that having the same middle part isn’t a good thing sometimes and that it’s good to switch it up ⬆️ . Especially with my braid out!? A new level unlocked 🔓 for me. I’m actually geeked for this oh my gosh 🤭. Asha (the name of my hair) looks beautiful ☺️🥰.

I don’t regret it. Thank you for reading 📚.

Guys… So This Happened | Hair Growth Is Sneaky 😭

Photo 1️⃣ July 2024 (I cut my hair off at the end of July)

Photo 2️⃣ February 2025

Photo 3️⃣ September 2025

Photos 4️⃣ and 5️⃣April 2026

I seriously was not expecting this difference in appearance or fullness, but here I am 🫣😇. I also have fine hair sooo… despite the rep we get I suppose there is hope after all? Don’t get me wrong, this may not be a significant difference. But, a difference nonetheless?

Thank you for reading 📚.

Officially Made It To High Puff Status 🪮💪🏽😇

I’m realizing that when I do my high ponytail I like only water and maybe some leave in conditioner.

I've been setting boundaries all year and I'M TIRED

It still feels both new and fucking foreign to me and my body still feels the rush from today. Boundaries I set so far this year!?

yesterday? I told my birthgiver that she didn't wish me a happy anniversary and it hurt my feelings. Please know that when you survive narcissistic abuse this feeling is common i guess,

my aunt that I used to be close to? I used to talk to? I used to talk to her 2 times a week or so for about 10-40 ish minutes because that's all my nervous system could handle because she gossiped a lot and seemed negative. She told me that if we're only going to talk 2 times a week then we shouldn't talk and I said okay blocked her and kept it moving (I did grieve heavy because she was a childhood best friend),

I let an ex friend of 4 years have the last word and went silent (she was emotionally and psychologically abusive),

now I had someone in my life? I felt i couldn't trust her after 1 1/2 years so i let her go even if my gut is wrong. This shit is a lot. Learning to trust yourself after years of pain, gaslighting and pattern recognition is a lot.

Hopefully This Is A Safe Space. That Being Said.. 👀🫣

I find that sometimes I need or want 5 orgasms in a row (when masturbating) before I get my day started. Basically sometimes that’s like my morning coffee.

Is this a bad thing? I’m asking because I want to know if I need to take it easy or not 🥺. Please be nice 🫣.

P.S. This is actually embarrassing for me to post, but I’d like to know what you all think and advice if I need any.

I Did My Own Mini Twists For The First Time 🪮➿

I used the The Doux Crazy Sexy mousse🧴and only that product alone for my twists. I used it for hold, smell and because honey is good for Asha. I did however do my usual LOC method before applying anything else because it’s very important to Asha (my hair).

For reference I have fine hair, 4a/3c hair with a very small hint of 4b hair. I have medium/low density. I’m currently on day 6 and I think 🤔 I like what I’m seeing..
