MSc Physics: Heidelberg University

Hey guys,

I have recently submitted my application for the MSc Physics program at Heidelberg University this winter. The selection procedure for a non-eu student involves weightage of points for your prior academic grade, and an online interview.

Could anyone who is in this program (or gave the interview and rejected the admission offer) let me know what they really ask in the interview, as in the level and depth of questions? And which areas of physics are roughly covered?

Please let me know guys !!

hey all,

I am applying for German masters programs in physics and quantum tech this winter. I am 23 currently, and will turn 24 in a couple months. I am a bit insecure with regards to my age, since I kind of completed a dual degree in physics and astronomy, and now I decided that I wanted to enter the field of quantum science and technology. Had I had the clarity before, I would not have specialised in astronomy, and it kind of costed me 2 years.

I just wanted to genuinely know if people in germany pursue their masters at this age as well? out of curiosity.

please let me know !!!

Hey guys,

I am planning to apply to the MSc Physics program at LMU this year. I am an indian, and I hold a prior degree in physics and astronomy, with a thesis. My German grade is around 2.7, which is not that good.

Moreover, international students apparently require GRE Physics as a part of their application. In India, this exam is only held in October, which is past the deadline. I mailed the admission team regarding this and they mentioned that I can apply without a GRE score, but my application might be rejected.

Has anyone applied without GRE and gotten in???

Please let me know!!

Hey guys,

I am applying to Austrian universities for MSc Physics programs, and the documents require legalisation. The deadline for one of my interested university is May 15th. How do I get an Apostille done??? I searched online and it requires sending originals to Delhi or something.

Can you guys please provide some guidance here. And how much time does this process take?
