Hi Guys.
My friend recently booked a room for some private time. At the time of booking, they asked for Aadhaar cards as ID proof, and my friend submitted unmasked copies for both people.
Is submitting ID proof mandatory for hotels? If yes, can we use duplicate/fake Aadhaar cards instead? Will the hotel verify the IDs? Also, if we book through Airbnb, do we need to submit ID proof there too?

Actually im ok with id submission but she is not willing to submitting her original id. girls have some problems. so looking for alternatives.
