Should we add aim assist to Main Battle Tanks?

I was reading about how the US military wants to be able to use AI to add aim assist to tanks, armored vehicles, and other systems. Do you think it is a good idea to have the AI give the aiming reticle a little nudge for the user?

I do not like it when Youtubers and streamers read the dialogue out loud in games.

TLDR: The vast majority of people do not have good reading voices. When they do read out loud it is bland, boring, and painful. There is a reason why we teach students to memorize their speech in speech class. Everybody can instantly notice when somebody is reading their speech from a piece of paper or if they have it memorized.

What games am I talking about here? Pokemon games, Zelda games, Mario games, etc. don't have voice acting so the streamer needs to decide if they are read the dialogue or not. And there are literally thousands of fan games, randomizers and rom hacks of these games with their own fan made stories, fan made characters, fan made world maps, etc. that are often story-heavy experiences. And youtubers and streamers like to play these fan games and rom hacks and randomizers.

I got into a pretty heated argument on Discord with about a dozen people complaining about streamers who either skip the dialogue or read it quietly in their heads. They felt real anger and pain that the streamer was not engaging with the story in a story-heavy game.

But for me, I never want them to read the dialogue. I have either already played this part of the game before and therefore don't need to know what the characters said or I have not played through this part of the game before and I don't want to be spoiled. In either case, I don't want them reading the dialogue.

The best solution for me is a streamer who reads the story quietly (and quickly) in their heads and them summarizes it for chat, etc. That way the streamer knows where to go next and does not need to ask chat or youtube comments for directions.

Atrioc is genuinely hilarious

I have been watching Atrioc's Pokemon streams for the Nuzlocke invitational and he is a lot of fun. I like watching him make dumb mistakes and then win anyways without realizing it or clawing his way back out of it.

I can't stand cliffhanger endings, sequel bait, or open-ended finales.

All of these endings feel like I am watching an advertisement for a future movie/tv show/video game that I can't see right now. And I don't like watching advertisements. There are advertisements in everything these days.

Writers get negative points for leaving a romantic relationship open ended or uncertain at the end of an episode, movie, season, or video game. Halo 2's cliffhanger ending, Half-Life 2's G-man ending (Its been 19 years. We are never going to find out who the G-man is.), MCU post-credit scenes, any anime that never got a second season, The Walking Dead "Finale", etc. are all great examples.

There are so many series that have terrible endings or never end or, even worse, the 1st season of the anime was just an advertisement for the manga.

The ending is absolutely paramount. A bad ending can ruin the entire experience. I don't want to hear "It is about the journey and not the destination". That is just a cop out for writers who struggle with commitment issues.

Idea: Buff Teutons LOS on Houses

Way back in Age of Kings and Age of Conquerors, Teutons had +5 Line-Of-Sight on their TC. This helped you find your sheep faster.

In 2013, the devs gave this bonus to Chinese and increased it to +7 LOS on their TC to help with the very random Chinese start. Teutons lost their bonus because this was back when two civs could not have the same bonus.

I propose we give Teutons +5 LOS on their houses.

For comparison:

Generic Outpost:
Dark age: 6 tiles
Feudal: 8 tiles
Castle: 10 tiles
Imperial: 12 tiles

Teuton House
Dark age: 6 tiles
Feudal: 6 tiles
Castle: 6 tiles
Imperial: 6 tiles.

Why this change?

Teutons are already strong on closed maps and semi-closed maps. They don't need any buff there. Teutons are weak on open maps and extra vision will make their gameplay more consistent.

"This sounds like an Ethiopian outpost that supports +5 population."

Ethiopians also get +3 Line-of-sight on their outposts on top of removing the stone cost. So Ethiopian outposts still give more vision in every age.
