Tomorrow we start Meta Connect event which will cover the newest development in AI and Smart Glasses.

A lot of happening around Meta recently as they growth to be a frontier AI Lab. A lot of the newest developments will power directly Essilor as they are partners with Meta AI Glasses.

Essilor has faced a deep correction to the price of 140 euro (projected EPS for 2026: around 7.3)

That leaves us with P/E 19 for 2026 and a great chunk of positive annoucement to be down tomorrow.

What's your stake at Essilor. Is it worth to take a position before tomorrow's Meta Connect?

We are talking about the best luxury conglomerate in the world, 75 brands, pricing power like no one else, family owned (Arnault owns ∼49%), and insane capital allocation. This thing traded at P/E 28-32 for years.

Now it's sitting at P/E ∼18 and people act like it's over.

Most branches have returned to a organic growth (beside leather and clothing). Jewelry (Tiffany and Bvlgari are doing amazing in this market). Recently LVMH have increased stake in Loro Piana (which growths double digit).

The average for LVHM is about ~~ 25 P/E

So this would give us

2026: 22,5*25 = 562,5 (38% up)

2027: 25,35*25 = (55% up)

LVMH as well pays regular dividends and does share buybacks so it's not like they do not mobilise their capital for shareholders.

We are now in the phase of taking care of a body (Ozempic, HYROX etc). But at some point people will like again to put on some fashionable clothes.

What's your take on a broad luxury sector?

LVMH, Monclear (as well 18 P/E) and Hermes?

Zawsze, jak spłacam kredyt, to wchodzę w niego w aplikacji bankowej i widnieje tam "kwota kolejnej raty". Była ona tym razem niepoprawna i o 10 zł niższa niż ta wynikająca z harmonogramu. Spowodowało to, że opóźniłem się w spłacie kredytu o 3 dni (dopiero dziś to zauważyłem).

3 dni to niedużo i zapewne nie popsują mojej zdolności kredytowej, szczególnie przy 10 zł opóźnienia. Mimo wszystko czuję, że jest to bardzo niesprawiedliwe, ponieważ wynika to z błędu banku, nie mojego.

Złożyłem reklamację do banku i czekam 30 dni na odpowiedź o korektę danych w BIK-u.

Mieliście podobne doświadczenia lub wiecie, czy da się coś z tym zrobić? Bank chyba powinien odpowiadać za to, co wyświetla w aplikacji.

Mam screeny zarówno przelewów, jak i tego, co wyświetla się w aplikacji (ponieważ kwota kolejnej raty kredytu nadal źle się pokazuje).
