Cutting it a little close there...

Ian has a problem. A spaceship with a case of exsplodiness. A spacesuit that can't take him home. Ventral port gasses. But with a positive attitude and a little bit of ... oh, who are we kidding -- this guy is screwed!

FLUNG by Jason E Raines is out now on Webtoons, Tapas, GlobalComix or in widescreen Epic Format at www.stardog.tv!

In Space, disaster is always an option.

Redundant systems in triplicate. Safeties built into all equipment. Testing, evaluation and simulations... none of that helps in the cold vacuum of space. Read FLUNG on Webtoons and at www.stardog.tv!

Helsikon, the Machine World

Deep within the Tadaran Rift, bathed in radiation lies the Machine World of Helsikon. Here gather all of the intelligent Machine Life known as Meks to a world of their own -- an artificial world that orbits no star. Helsikon carries a sun of its own at its very core -- a fusion reactor the size of a moon. Together, here, the Meks forge their way through the galaxy. Check out FLUNG!

Moonlock

Orbiting the world of Thelaria are two moons. The larger moon called Visla had been with Thelaria since the dawn of time. The smaller moon, Shyta was captured by Thelaria's orbit hundreds of thousands of years ago and created a massive ecological disaster that forced much of the seaborne life move to land. Once they discovered spaceflight, the Thelarians colonized both worlds quickly, building the Moonlock -- a massive structure that stabilized Shyta's orbit and rebalanced the system. Dyson Sphere

Hi all! Thought I'd share another drawing of a massive structure that I did for my comic FLUNG -- this one is a Dyson Sphere! Built by an ancient race of aliens that are long since gone, Sa'Demaan orbits around a binary star system -- a small blue dwarf star with a tiny red dwarf companion. While not technically a sphere, the large orbiting "continents" are designed to capture as much of the stars energy as possible, while still providing day/night cycles for the species that require them. Alien August day THIRTY

We're almost done with Alien August and with today's species we travel to a damp, dark world at the very edge of the Galaxy. The Guadii are one of the few mycocological species in the galaxy, but don't let their giant maw make you think they're going to eat you -- that's just an air circulation system opening.
