What’s some things you wish you knew or packed for a cruise as a solo traveler / Encore Alaska trip

I’m taking my first solo cruise. Going to start a new job soon and taking a week between to recharge, saw a deal on a cruise through glacier bay and that sounded like a nice relaxing time.

I’m a little anxious about traveling solo. Not having someone to just shoot the shit with at meals or drinks is going to be strange. Any suggestions other than a book and pair of headphones while I stare off the balcony into the void?

My crooked con / Lovett or leave it ticket for Merch

I have a solo ticket for the Lovett show at crooked con and (if I’m allowed to transfer it) a solo ticket for crooked con.

I’m (in the process of) going through a security clearance for a new job and presuming I get cleared, I won’t be able to take the time off to attend.

I’d like to donate them to someone who wants to attend, ideally someone willing to mail me some cool merch from the convention afterward so I can still make believe I was there.

Battle of the used EVs - 2023 Mach-e vs Audi Q4

Cost is about the same, Audi has about 15000 more miles.

The Audi is a Quattro premium plus 50

The ford is a Premium extended range all wheel drive.

Is the luxury worth the increased repair risk?
Is the slightly better range of the Mach-e really worth it when I have a 7 mile commute (and can charge for free at work)

Want an EV, have a very short commute and will haul a kid and dogs on occasion. Prefer comfort over speed, and drive about 10,000 miles per year.

Too many hours of looking led me to drinking and getting frustrated. Here’s the three that seemed best, please help give me opinions on comfort, value, and longevity. I’ll probably keep it 5ish years. Unless I get bored sooner.

Private selling or ways to transfer loan? Love my K5 - was too ambitious in going back to a sedan.

Bought it, went on a vacation, return period is past and I can’t return it. I have the indigo / 512GB version. Have to be willing to meet around Rockford, IL.

Been in the market for a bag that can be used as a personal item, seems to check my boxes, but really expensive. Any predictions or thoughts? Similar alternatives?

Have a spend / get $ back for Briggs and Riley. They have good pricing through Costco next, and it’d be even better with cash back.

When shopping through CN it takes to you Briggs and Riley’s website for the purchase. About to pull the

trigger, but looking to see if anyone has feedback on if these can stack.

Thanks!
