This happened about a year ago. Nakilala ko siya here on Reddit, and siya yung unang nakausap ko. Hi sayo, Engineer. We had wholesome conversations naman, pero may NSFW stuff din between us.

Kaya pala ayaw niyang makipag-swap pics sakin before—may jowa pala si gago. Then I checked his profile and nakita ko na he’s been in a relationship for 6 years.

So habang ginagawa namin yung mga bagay na yun, may girlfriend pala siya the whole time??? What the actual fuck.

Mas malala pa, may issue pala siya here on Reddit na pinagkakalat at tine-trade niya yung pictures ng mga girls na nakausap niya sa Telegram. I honestly don’t know kung kasama yung pics ko sa mga pinakalat niya, and that’s what worries me the most.

Ang bullshit lang. I trusted him enough to talk to him and share things privately, only to find out na may girlfriend pala siya and may ganitong allegations pa tungkol sa kanya.

If ever malaman kong kasama ako sa mga pictures na kinalat or tinrade niya, I’m seriously considering reaching out to his girlfriend and letting her know what happened. She deserves to know what kind of person she’s been with for 6 years.

21 [F4M] Looking for a Constant

Trying this again with clear intentions. I’m not looking for someone to fill the silence or pass the time. I want to meet someone who’s interested in getting to know each other naturally and seeing where it goes. No pressure, no games—just consistency, honesty, and good conversations.

About Me

* 21

* College student

* Loves watching movies and listening to music

* Enjoys deep conversations as much as random late-night talks

* Family-oriented

* Can be quiet at first, but once I’m comfortable, I can talk about almost anything

* Values honesty, communication, and emotional maturity

* Looking for something genuine, not another situationship

About You

* Single, of course

* Knows how to communicate and put in effort

* Respectful, kind, and emotionally mature

* Has a sense of humor because life is already stressful enough

* Looking for a genuine connection, not just someone to chat when bored

If you think we’d get along, send me an intro instead of just “hi” or “hello.” Tell me something about yourself or what made you message me.

He says he’s just reminding me of my mistakes, but it feels like he’s using them against me.

Problem/Goal:

I (F21) don’t know if ako lang ba, pero normal ba talaga sa isang relationship na paulit-ulit ibalik yung mga pagkakamali mo kahit napag-usapan at na-settle na? I know I made mistakes before, and I’m not denying them. Inamin ko, nag-sorry ako, tinanggap ko yung pagkukulang ko, and we already talked about it. Akala ko once na na-resolve na, you both move forward. Pero parang every time may misunderstanding kami, ibinabalik niya ulit.

May isa pa akong gustong itanong. Is it automatically betrayal kapag nag-open up ka sa trusted friends mo?

As someone who’s currently teaching, medyo naapektuhan ako doon. Hindi ba mas okay na sabihin ng teacher na, “I’m not sure right now, but I’ll check it and get back to you,” kaysa mag-imbento ng sagot? Does not knowing one answer automatically make someone a bad teacher?

I don’t know if I’m just being too sensitive, pero pakiramdam ko kasi ang taas ng standards niya sa ibang tao, pero kapag ako na, parang wala nang room para magkamali, mag-improve, o magbago. It’s like once you’ve made a mistake, that’s already your identity in his eyes.

Am I overreacting? Is this normal? Or is this already a sign that someone no longer respects you as a person and only sees you through your past mistakes?

22 [F4M] Taking a chance on something genuine.

Giving this a shot.

I’ve been single for a while now, and I think I’m finally at the point where I’m open to meeting someone again. I’m not in a rush to jump into a relationship, but I’m also not closing my doors anymore. If something genuine grows from a simple conversation, then why not?

About me:

* 5’6”

* Currently working professionally and finishing my degree.

* I enjoy meaningful conversations, but I can also be makulit and sarcastic once I’m comfortable.

* Introverted at first, but madaldal kapag nag-click ang vibe.

* Into self-improvement—trying to stay active, eat better, and take care of my skin (yes, skincare is non-negotiable 😂).

* Loves coffee, peaceful cafés, road trips, and random late-night talks.

* Family-oriented and values honesty, consistency, and clear communication.

About you:

* Around my age or a little older.

* Emotionally mature and knows how to communicate.

* Has goals in life and is passionate about what he does.

* Respectful, kind, and patient.

* Bonus if you’re into fitness or at least trying to live a healthy lifestyle.

* Someone who enjoys both deep conversations and random humor.

* Single, of course. 😅

I’m not looking for someone perfect. I’m just hoping to meet someone who’s genuine, emotionally available, and willing to see where things naturally go.

If this resonates with you, feel free to send me a message. Let’s start with a conversation and see where it leads.

How do you detach from someone you still love?

Problem/Goal:

It’s been 6 months since nawala yung romantic connection namin. He told me na he only wants us to be friends instead of building a genuine relationship. Until now, he still updates me, calls me, and we still talk almost every day.

The problem is, mahal ko pa rin siya. Every time he gives me attention, umaasa pa rin ako kahit alam kong wala na kaming label.

Recently, he told me, “It’s not my obligation to reply every time you demand it kapag hindi ako nagre-reply.” I know he’s right. Wala na kaming relationship, so he doesn’t owe me anything.

My goal is to finally detach and move on.

* I kept myself busy with work, tutoring, and other things.

* Lagi kong nire-remind sarili ko na yung updates at calls niya don’t necessarily mean na may chance pa.

Pero every time mag-uusap kami, parang back to zero yung healing ko.

How did you detach from someone you still love without hating them? Kailangan ba talagang mag-no contact para tuluyan kang maka-move on?

How do you detach from someone you still love?

It’s been 6 months since we lost our romantic connection.

We never officially cut each other off. In fact, he still updates me almost every day, calls me, and we still talk. But months ago, he told me that he only wants us to stay friends instead of building a genuine romantic relationship.

I tried accepting it because I didn’t want to lose him completely. But the problem is, I don’t think my feelings ever changed.

Recently, I got hurt because he told me, “It’s not my obligation to reply every time you demand it when I don’t respond.” I know he’s right. We’re not together anymore, and he doesn’t owe me constant replies. But hearing those words made me realize that maybe I’ve been holding on to something that no longer exists.

I feel like we’re stuck in this confusing situation where he still gives me attention, updates me, and calls me, but I’m the only one hoping it could become something more again.

How do you detach from someone you love so much when they’re still part of your everyday life?

Should I slowly distance myself, even if it means losing the friendship? Or is there another way to move on without completely cutting him off?

I would really appreciate advice, especially from people who’ve been through something similar.

About me:

• Funny and easy to vibe with

• No vices please

• Not DDS

Not really rushing into anything. I just want something genuine, constant, and peaceful. Bonus points if you send more than just “hi” because carrying conversations alone is exhausting HAHAHA.
