Hello guys, could really use some advice from people who’ve actually dealt with this.
Room 1 — already built, 14x15. Big window sits right opposite the bed, which is obviously where the TV would normally go, but the room’s too small to place it anywhere else and still watch comfortably. Kind of stuck here.
Room 2 — construction starting soon, 14x20. Same core problem but the opposite wall is 20ft long and faces a park, so I don’t want to permanently block the view either. Two options I’m weighing:
**1. Sliding TV wall** — a \~10x10 wall section holding the TV that slides along the 20ft wall, so it can move and align with wherever I’m sitting instead of being fixed in one spot.
**2. Split the wall in half** — one half is a sliding/balcony door, the other half is a fixed TV unit. If I go this route, where should the balcony door go — directly opposite the bed, or opposite wherever the seating area is (if there’s a separate sitting spot in the room)? Trying to figure out what makes more sense functionally and visually.
I’ve asked around locally and haven’t found anyone (designers or contractors) who’s actually executed either of these before, so hoping to find people online who have. If you’ve built something similar — how has it held up over time? Is the sliding mechanism reliable long-term, any noise or maintenance headaches, what track/hardware would even support a wall section that size?
Also, general question — is a projector actually practical for everyday use (normal TV/cable, not just movies), or is the upkeep (bulbs, screen, ambient light) more hassle than it’s worth long term compared to a regular TV?
(I know a designer/contractor will eventually be involved for execution, but before that I’m trying to understand what’s actually possible and what to ask them for — so any real experience, product names, mechanisms, or “wish I’d done it differently” stories would help a ton, especially since local pros here haven’t dealt with this specific setup before.)

Been struggling to find a reliable eye doctor in Agra since Late Dr. Anand Sharma from Sanjay Palace passed away. He always gave the most accurate eye number, never had a problem with glasses made on his prescription.
After him I visited 3 doctors and all 3 gave me different numbers 😑 Same eyes, 3 different prescriptions — make it make sense.

I don't know much about AC, but here's my real-world experience.
We have two identical 260 sqft rooms side by side. One has a Daikin 1.5 ton 5-star 2025 model, the other a Hitachi 1.5 ton 3-star 2023 model.
During the current heatwave 46 degree outside, the Daikin completely failed to cool the room. When I contacted the service team, they told me it was all in my head.
Meanwhile, the Hitachi-cooled room was so comfortable we needed a blanket at 26°C. In the Daikin room, we were sweating at 22°C.
And it's not imagination — once the outside temperature dropped, the Daikin started working normally again. That alone confirms something is wrong with how it performs under peak.
Bought a Daikin Split AC 1.5TR FTKM 5-star in 2025.
Worked perfectly in first season. This summer it runs fine but the room doesn’t cool down to what the unit shows.
I normally keep it at 28°C and it used to work fine. This season even when it shows 24°C on the display, the room doesn’t feel anywhere close to that temperature.
Service technician visited, said there’s no leakage and just a service was required. Did the service in under 10 minutes without opening anything — and the problem is exactly the same after.
Has anyone faced this? What was the actual cause in your case?

I’m honestly getting frustrated.
I reached out to a local interior designer and asked for their past work. They shared a few project videos that weren’t even on their Instagram yet, saying their team would post them later.
A couple of weeks later, I randomly come across another designer’s page — and one of those exact videos is already posted there weeks earlier.
So I asked both:
- Local designer: “They outsourced this project to us, we executed it.”
- Other designer: “We did it ourselves, never outsourced anything.”
Now both are claiming the same project with completely opposite stories.
How are you supposed to trust anyone when something this basic is unclear?
