Nena is a 5 year old female Bulldog that is available for adoption at the Queens Animal Shelter in Queens, New York. You can contact the shelter by phone or email. They are open from 12-6pm and their address is 323 East 109th Street, New York, NY 10029. Their phone number is 212-788-4000.

Nena is a friendly, calm girl that has lived with a family for two years.Unfortunately, she is medically sensitive due to a tail tumor. She I'll most likely need the tail amputated.

Her Facebook post says that she is eligible for rescue by A New Hope Rescue Partner. I'm not sure what that means since I don't work at the shelter. The post also says that her adoption may qualify for a $1000 stipend.

Let's save Nena!

The North Richland Hills Animal Shelter has had this beautiful chunk for over a month. He’s a purebred 3 year old. Some caveats:

He is heartworm positive but that will be treated by the shelter with antibiotics and 3 separate appointments for shots following adoption. He also has a large scabby bald spot on his back they said the vet told them was fungal but they told me because I went to see him today they just don’t have the time to bathe him 3 times a week to clear it up. The poor boy is so happy so sweet but his white fur is yellow and he smells like piss I have no idea when then last bath was. I’m going to go there every day this week and bathe him play with him whatever but I don’t have anymore room with a frenchie puppy and a 2 year old cattle dog. If anyone is willing to give this guy a chance please let me know and I’ll give you all the info I can. His name is Churchill and here’s his pic. It should also be noted there is no adoption fee for any animal at this shelter. Someone please save him before a rescue grabs him and charges 5-1000 to rehome him. I’m damn near crying over here because I can’t bring him home I walked out of that shelter feeling defeated and useless to him. All I can do is go bathe him and give him some love this week since I’m off work but he needs a home he is so sweet and beautiful.

Hello all- if you’re in or near Northern California and are looking for a great dog, Gunther is your guy. He’s smart and loyal, and truly loves his people.

Unfortunately his owner passed away and now his family is losing their home at the end of this month.
So Gunther needs our help.

He is fixed and just turned 6, so he is a pretty mellow guy. He prefers the company of female dogs over males however- he’s really just not a fan of male dogs. He is well-trained and obedient.

I’m posting this for a friend- she’s already going through so much with the loss of her loved one and now having to move. She’s devastated that she can’t bring Gunther along with her, and she’s trying her best to find him a good home.

She has called around to several shelters and rescue groups with no success. Open to suggestions for contacts- any advice really is appreciated. Thank you
