WIP opening titles for my new feature

Shooting my new feature with the Sirui Venus and Saturns. Most of these shots in the title sequence were shot with the 150mm Saturn.

I'm editing in a 2.76:1 aspect ratio.

Moving to France next year. What is the cost of living like

We'll be moving to the south of France next year. We're looking at villages and towns within an hour if Bordeaux.

We will have a budget of roughly €4k a month.

Is that a decent budget.

Question about affordable zoom lenses

For the feature I'm shooting, I'm looking for an affordable parfocal zoom lens from around 50 to 70 mm that will zoom parfocal or close enough parfocal to about 200 to 300 m.

It doesn't have to be perfect.

Its for effect only.

Any ideas?

I'll post my feature "Clown N Out" on YouTube if I can reach 1000 subscribers.

It's on Prime and Apple TV.

But if I can get 1000 subscribers, I'll post on YouTube, so I can monetize it.

I'll be uploading a bunch of short films I've made as well.

I also have 2 filmmaking tutorials there as well as some music cover videos

So please subscribe.

"The Daycare" A dark comedy.

After the first short film written by my wife was poorly executed by a "trained" director. I decided I could as bad a job as he did, and told my wife about the idea. She wrote the script. I hired a location sound guy and a dp, and made the short for $3500.

Editing my next feature film in 2:76 aspect ratio

It will do the Vista shots of Corfu Justice. The island is as much a character in the film as the actors are.

Shooting with the Sirui Saturn Anamorphics., guerilla style without a crew just like my last feature "Clown N Out". I'll be leaning a lot into natural light, using small cube lights and a Zhyun Molus Molus for accent lighting.

Here are some preliminary stills. I'm shooting with a Panasonic S1h and Blackmagic video assist 12g.

Now to meet the posting requirements.

I'll also be leaning into a classic film approach. Meaning there won't be closeups of every single action. I won't be doing a bunch of unnecessary crazy camera movement shots every 2 seconds. There won't be drone shots. And I want to keep the amount of picture cuts down. I have 3 camera setups I'll use depending on the scene.

I have a "Creator" rig that I've setup to record up to 4 actors at once straight to camera. I have a Ready Rig, avd a tilta float vest and arm for a smaller setup.

All three will use the DJI lidar autofocus system.

And the Tech premarket pump is on again

Everyday it's the same. About 3 ours before premarket opens, they pump these stocks up.

Premarket opens, they barely move up. Maybe a bit. A few tenths of a percent.

Market opens. Might go up a percent or two if you're lucky. Then BAM. Right back into red again.

Let's see if it happens again today at market open.

Why do these oil companies insist on poking the bear?

Why do they keep trying to sneak through Hormuz?

Why are they putting their people at risk, and risking a ecological disaster.

Is it because they actually believe trump when he says we've wiped out Irans military?

You going to be a Tech Stock bagholder?

Companies are realizing that Ai isn't the money maker they thought it would be. They're pulling back investment and many organizations are now hitting the brakes due to poor returns on investment.

This type of thing happened with streaming TV. The studios realized it wasn't the cash cow they thought it would be. Major pullback almost overnight. Massive layoffs in the industry. 40k jobs lost in LA alone. Oscar winning sound supervisors driving Uber to make ends meet.

Suppliers like rental companies and film stages that have been around for over 50 years closed their doors.

I hope I'm wrong. But it's not looking good. This is not a basic "correction" IMO

So, you going to be a bagholder to the bottom.?

Looks like the war is on again.

This is why I try to not hold anything over the weekend while the Orange halfwit is in office.

Oh well. Another money making opportunity for my favorite airline stocks.

Let's see how far they drop tomorrow.

Yippee kayeee motherfucker.

Most beautiful city I've ever seen.

We've been traveling from Marseille to the southwest of France, deciding what area we want to move to. Arrived in Bordeaux yesterday. It made our mind up for us. What a gorgeous city. Allthough we don't want to live directly in the city, we want to live within an hour of it. We will be looking in the areas between Bordeaux and Bergerac. We are going to Bergerac tomorrow. Bet southwest is definitely our choice now.
