5 months in ortho assisting and ready to quit

I only just completed on the job training and want to quit. The hours suck so i’m barely scraping by, but everyone is SO nice at my office though, so i feel immense guilt. Im going back to school and going into a completely different career path and picked up a second job because it’s so unsustainable. I’m the only assistant so is be royally screwing everyone over but i’m just not feeling it anymore! Like, 25 hours a week is abysmal.

the welcomed fear of a late period

I know it’s because of stress, but that slight twinge of fear i get from a late period is so exciting, and but so incredibly disappointing when it turns out to be what i expect. Sigh… another $15 wasted on tests and wishful thinking

Can I be reprimanded for leaving a comment as a “disgruntled ex-employee”

I worked for an extremely small family owned business that deteriorated over the course of about six months. There’s some things that I’ve written down or things that I have made for the business that I want them to get rid of because I want no parts of having been involved whatsoever, even if it’s unidentifiable information. There’s no contract or anything that I signed. The employer has since blocked me on all platforms after terminating me for falling ill with the stomach bug that was in fact backed up by doctors notes and orders to stay home. (keep in mind. This was a café.) Since they blocked me, I have no way of coming in contact with them and, once again I want the things gone. I have just noticed they’ve been posted to a community page and I wanna leave a comment because I can see that they’re still using my signage. Is there any way that this could come back to bite me? They’re pretty shady and a falsified information before about a previous employee so they could block her from receiving unemployment after tensions were too high and they fired her.

Silly question: is generic glargine the same stuff as whats in a latnus pen?

The supplier that my vet gets insulin through was out of stock of the lantus pens, I got a written prescription and dropped it off at a regular pharmacy and they gave me generic glargine. I love to worry so just checking that the generic works just the same as name brand.

Has anyone ever seen this in a pt mouth/ what was it?

not looking for advice just curious!!!! Patient had bright neon (!) yellow cluster of spots tucked on the cheek at the 2nd lower molar. Never seen it before. Pt also had white spots tucked in the cheek of the upper molar. Saw it on an itero scan but obviously it doesn’t pick up cheek so i couldnt ask my dr. Genuinely just curious of what it could be, never seen anything like that

does this burn dressing look ok ??

Hi, i burned myself 3x due to an airfryer incident, I initially had a bandage over it, then the adhesive ripped the compromised skin off and really irritated the surrounding skin, now at a loss. I have put bacitracin and a light transparent waterproof dressing on it but am wondering if there’s anything else i can do or if i need to use a different kind of bandage. Tysm

Pearls worth getting appraised?

received this string as a gift several years ago, I am wondering if there is a possibility they are legit pearls or if they look fake. I know its one pic but I question because of how perfectly round all of them are, but obviously I don’t know anything about pearls. Wondering if I should get them appraised along with a few other things or not before i get them restrung.Thank you!

18 mg only really working for 3 hours

I feel l decent about an hour after i take it, then like a normal functioning person for 3 hrs, and then I’m exhausted the rest of the day. I have been on it about 3 weeks, female, 26, average weight. Does this mean it’s too little or too much of a dose?

Hoping to find a stand that was at Art on The Ave

Hi guys im looking for the name of the business that had a hoop that you could try for 5 dollars, i believe it was an aerial skills/pole fitness class for women. The stand was located on the east side of 5th st closer to the diner. If this is familiar to anyone, please let me know!

does anyone have something similar to this ? hardened area of leg that is extremely textured.

i have had this all my life, i am not looking for a diagnosis from anyone here or to be told to get it checked out as thats in the process. i just have never seen a leg look like mine. It gets very tight sometimes. Its very hard and not pliable and its almost like i have no fat in some areas. I have had this for as long as i can remember and it’s my biggest insecurity. It stays no matter if i lose weight or not. Just wondering if anyone can relate to something so visible
