Me and my friends are planning a road trip from Hamilton to Gaspé and Percé during the first week of October.
I know the weather can be unpredictable, but I'd love some insight from locals or anyone who has visited around that time. What temperatures should we expect during the day and at night? Is there usually heavy rain, strong wind, fog, snow, or ice on Route 132?
We're also wondering:
- Will regular all-season tires be okay?
- Are Forillon National Park and the main attractions around
Percé still accessible?
- Do many restaurants, tours, or businesses close for the season?
- Is it still a good time for sightseeing and short hikes?
- Are fall colours usually still visible?
Any honest advice or personal experiences would be really appreciated.
TL;DR My friends have planned a trip to Quebec for 8 days in October and I am deciding whether I should go or no.
I am in Canada but on temporary permit which expires in May 2027 and the only way to get PR is to learn french and score B2. I am still learning it and at currently lower B1, also I am jobless and the trip would cost around 1k-1.5k.
My friends told me they would sponsor me if I really want to come but I am having double thoughts that whether it will affect my French practice and will it be regretful in the end?
So I have been in a relationship for almost 2 years and we love each other a lot. We have same interests like travelling and same humour and we enjoy spending time together a lot. To be honest we both are virgin as it is first relationship for both of us, however only I have sexual desires not her. So she is deeply in love with me and really serious about our relationship and she likes physical touch like hugging and cuddling a lot but her body or her mind never desires for sexual intimacy, she has never watched p*rn and she has never ma*turbated in her whole life. Moreover, she finds french kissing very gross so I avoid doing that as well. I always initiate the intimacy and we are only able to do oral s*x (which she again finds disgusting, so it’s mostly me who does everything). There are few times we tried penetration but it is very painful for her and I am not even able to insert my finger into her v*gina because that is also extremely painful for her. As a result she always gets upset from herself that she is not able to give me what I need, which I never told her or made her feel like that. One time she was so sad that she cried and told me that she would be ok if I fulfilled my sexual desires with someone else. I am currently learning French and I am at lower B1 level, but I want to get B2 in the exam and I am planning to give the exam in 6 months, is there anything you guys can suggest? Like any tutors, helpful resources and especially templates for Writing and Speaking.
I am currently at A2 level, did my training through Frenchify with Vyom for both A1 and A2 but self study, not intensive pkg (contains live sessions). Now, I want to enroll myself for B1 but I read lot of reviews on Frenchify which are not great, majority of them are recommending a personal tutor, so I am confused what should I do. Please give me your opinions and also recommend some personal tutors.
I am completely new to AD and want to learn it for IT support or help desk support roles, but I have MacOS Tahoe 26.5.1 with Apple M5. I don't know if I can, also if you can help me with any alternatives.
Just watched the movie, it was really amazing experience, the film kept me enthralled throughout. The shot where Theo is trying to enter the building, escaping from fishes as well as the shootings and suddenly he gets into the bus and someone gets shot and the blood gets splashed on the camera, and the man with handheld camera running along side with Theo, the shot was extraordinary, it felt so real like I was the part of it. Also the kind of concept of the movie, whole world being infertile and us being on the verge of extinction, still us humans so f#cking narcissistic and full of ourselves, trying to let down each other, killing and all.
