So I messed up and skipped the placebo pills in my birth control pack… I was hoping it would let me skip my period. Big mistake- started out as spotting and over the last few weeks it’s heavier bleeding, blood clots, and cramps 😔.

I went to the doctor about 4 days ago and my doctor told me to skip the pill for 4 days and then take it again so my body can reset. She also said if i’m still bleeding while taking my pill again- to use the stronger prescription of b/c that she prescribed.

If I take my pill today am I suppose to take it where I left off or start on the new week of pills ? I’m so miserable right now and literally wanna cry 😢.

Was ringing up a customer at work ( elderly white woman ) and she seemed nice at the moment right ? Then as I proceed to wrap up the transaction and hand her the receipt she compliments my nails and says “thank you so much sweetheart” - and follows up by saying “you should should come help me clean my house” !

She laughed and then I just kinda stood there awkwardly -because I was in total shock while she left. My day has been completely thrown off 🫩.

Okay so I’ve kinda started dating a guy I use to work with years ago. We always had a thing for each other but never acted upon it because of little obstacles if that makes sense. So we’ve hung out a few times and have had sex twice so I’m def getting a bit attached 🥲. He really is the sweetest guy ever !

His uncle passed away a week ago and I’ve just really been trying to be there for him emotionally. I’ve also have been praying for him & his family day day & night. He always apologizes for replying late ect and tries to make plans to see me again ( it’s been about 2 weeks since we seen each other ). I’m more concerned about his healing & overall well being so I just told him I’m always here for support no matter what.

I haven’t heard from him in two days and am thinking of checking back in on him. But I’m not sure if that would seem clingy, should I just give him his space ? I don’t want him to think that I don’t care, he is always on my mind 🥺.

So I had a girls’ night last night with one of my close friends at a hookah lounge, right? We took some cute pics before enjoying the rest of our night. Today, my guy friend texted me a screenshot of my friend’s story with me in the background. I didn’t even know I was in the picture because I was just on my phone, so I didn’t really think much of it. He texted me saying he thought it was funny that I’m always on my phone, but also said he hoped we had a great time.

I replied and said we had fun and that I didn’t even notice I was in the background. I also sent him other pics we took, including a selfie of me, and told him I felt a lot of love on Instagram 🥹 He then just replied, “lol,” and I didn’t text back after that.

I lowkey thought the whole thing was weird, but maybe I’m just being sensitive. What do y’all think?

So I work in the beauty department and have been a Lancome counter manager for a little over a year now. The managers get on us about achieving our sales quotas- even though a lot of them are almost unrealistic or very hard to achieve.

Someone in my department ( who’s worked less than a year ) just got promoted as an assistant manager even though she’s never made her line assign goals. I’m just a bit confused because, our managers told us that we have to be at the job atleast a year… and have to make our sales goals most of the time in order to get promoted or switch counters.

Does anyone else’s store have the same policy or does it not matter anymore ?
