We’ve had the armpit incident, that one was just weird, the PETA incident, which was downright disturbing, but this El R34 overrun incident… this is a new low for the Umamusume community and people who have genuine respect for the horses, El Condor Pasa included.

Genuinely how the fuck were the events that led to this allowed to take place…

Evolution of my F-16 replicas

(sorted by age left to right)

March 19, 2020: F-16 Fighting Falcon. Long, odd shape. Resembles F-16 somewhat but looks very ugly. Air intake slapped onto underside, not conformal with fuselage. Vertical tail too big and long. No delta wings. Ailerons too big. No flaps or airbrakes. 2 Vulcans positioned on fuselage. Has bombs. Originally designed with no action group to toggle afterburner or engine power.

May 22, 2020: General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. Modified KerbalX creation, very lazy attempt as a result (by me, not original creator). Much shorter. Looks more like an F-16. Air intake conformal-ish with fuselage. Delta wings. Better tail shape but could use improvement. Flaps, but no airbrakes. 2 Vulcans mounted on underside of LERXs. Modified further into TFP Starscream at one point.

December 31, 2021: USAF F-16 Fighting Falcon. Back to home-built craft. Looks even more like an F-16. Chonker. Uses actual F-16 cockpit from AirplanePlus. Crammed with missiles. Delta wings made of swept wings and elevon parts 2 and 3 for flat trailing edge. Airbrakes and flaps. Anti-collision lights. Airbrakes mounted to tail booms, inaccurate look when opened. Decent maneuverability, but no reaction wheels to hold AoA better. Vulcans in accurate spot but placement is symmetrical. Docking port for mid-air refueling (never attempted).

July 11, 2026: Lockheed/General Dynamics F-16C Viper. Home-built with inspiration from online design, but not exactly. Best-looking F-16. Accurate tail shape. Sleek delta wings. Area-ruled fuselage. Lifting-body results in low take-off and landing speeds. Canted stabilators. Ventral tail fins. Reaction wheels to hold AoA. TWR>1. Airbrakes look very accurate when opened, not mounted to procedural parts (no procedural parts are used in this version). Pitot tube. Weapons not installed yet, but will soon, including single Vulcan in accurate spot on left side only. Droptanks will be added. Supermaneuverable.

If you look at a picture of the F-35’s underside (specifically the rear), you can identify which one it is by looking at the arrestor hook’s housing alone.

F-35A: Thinner, rounder, warning near middle of housing.

F-35B: no hook or housing, smoother underside (thus picture is not included in this post).

F-35C: Broader shape, flatter surface, warning near rear of housing.

The smallest, most fuel-efficient, most ridiculous lander I've ever built

In case you're wondering where the engine is, Bill is.

This is the first Kraken-powered craft I have ever built, going off of a tutorial I saw once (don't remember where). It essentially uses a physics glitch where the Kerbal's collision physics interacts with a craft while on a ladder. When the Kerbal pushes against the "ceiling" of this lander, the physics makes it go up because the game believes the Kerbal is pushing it out of the way. But since the Kerbal remains on the ladder, he goes up with it.

Because the lander uses no fuel to fly, this gives me essentially infinite delta V so long as the Kerbal remains attached to the ladder.

I have not tested this lander in space yet, though I do plan to do so someday soon.

Note: if you're wondering what those RCS ports are for, they're landing legs. Not very strong ones, but they can keep the lander somewhat upright.

Lander may be subject to change in the future.

Project HARP, for high altitude research project, was a joint venture of the United States Department of Defense and Canada's Department of National Defence created with the goal of studying ballistics of re-entry vehicles and collecting upper atmospheric data for research. Unlike conventional space launching methods that rely on rockets, HARP instead used very large guns to fire projectiles into the atmosphere at extremely high speeds.

A 16-inch (41 cm) HARP gun operated by the U.S. Army's Ballistic Research Laboratory (now called the U.S. Army Research Laboratory) at Yuma Proving Ground currently holds the world record for the highest altitude that a gun-fired projectile has achieved: 180 kilometres (111.8 mi), well above the Kármán line conventionally marking the beginning of outer space.
