help. my friend found an AirTag in his vehicle

a friend of mine just found an Apple Air Tag in his camper as he was cleaning it.

he didn't place it there himself

he's quite the paranoid person and I would be too if I found a tracker in my vehicle. He found it hidden under some cardboard boxes. it doesn't look old or damaged.

it absolutely doesn't make sense that he put it there and forgot about it as he never owned an Apple device. and it was in a weird place to put.

some people have been inside there, only one without his permission and he doesn't remember if the dude has an Apple so he can't really put the blame on him.

is there any way to find out when or from which device it was activated? it's not dusty or broken, just weird

I'm literally obsessed over the topic. What's the point of creating bots that comment on fanfics either praising/hating or scamming?? I get the scam part, drawing people to share personal socials etc.

But hate/praise bots?? Why? To raise engagement? I can't find a sense for them and i don't know if someone actually has an answer.

I mean if research was done to understand their meaning of existing in the first place. Anyone let me know please, they ragebait me so badly and completely ruin the vibe of posting for me because I'm always anxious waiting for the next bot comment
