Greentop Nursery: The House That Wanted to be a Vault
Once upon a time in the Commonwealth, there was a house. It was dilapidated and in shitty condition overall, but this house had a dream - that it could be a vault!

I'm looking for a single bed that is in the game files, but is not a settlement object.
The short explanation: I'm running Elianora's Faction Housing Overhaul AIO, which adds a nice assortment of double beds to her player homes. I spawn one of those into a settlement crash pad and I have a bed that my settlers don't try to sleep in. It also doesn't add to the settlement's bed count.
I'm trying to furnish a room that's too small for a double.
I built a mock-up of the PA display at the Red Rocket. Even though it meant relocating the market, the Starlight Drive-In seemed like the only place for this.
Stats & notes: 29 settlers, 120 food, 200 water. I was finally able to recruit a full set of top tier merchants (see below). Dumped so many weapons in the workshop, I was afraid I'd break the game.
Five stories high, with elevator access to the top four floors
The PA display sits squarely in front of the screen.
The elevator is set to the side.
2nd Floor T-51: l-r Railroad, Sugar Bombs, Nuka-Cola, Vim!, Vim Refresh, Abraxo, Military
3rd floor T-60: Shark, Atom Cats, Tesla, Hot Pink, Flames
4th Floor X-01: Vault-Tec, Quantum, X-01 EMP
5th floor: T-45 Military, Raider Overboss, T-45 Minutemen
During the day, you'll find The Scribe, Ron Staples and Ann Hargraves here.
A bar and a couple ferns. Fern bar anyone?
On this side, you'll find Smiling Larry, Doc Anderson and Trader Rylee here during the day.
The rehab center has a waiting area to the right?
Railroad T-51 - I think it looks pretty dope.
That shark smile and those eyes say, only a maniac would wear armor like that.
I made a five story display for my power armor. Floors 2-5 have elevator access, the first floor is a step-up thing. I haven't installed lighting - this is just a mock-up - but, with vault power available to all floors, that shouldn't be an issue.
Not making room for Trash Raider PA. It's gonna be scattered around on the ground as if its wearers were killed in it.
I built this at the Red Rocket, but I'm looking for a more suitable location. I don't think Vault 88 has the vertical build space (it would be six stories high) and, unfortunately, I've already built up the Starlight Drive-In. Nevertheless, throw your ideas here!
The company went out of business with the death of its owner a few years ago, and, if the password is keyed to anything, it's a user token and a license key I no longer have - all that's left of the original website is a page through which the app can be activated. (The app was no longer usable as of 2024.)
I'm inclined to click "dismiss" on the notification, but, is there anything I haven't thought of?
He's big, very big, and, as a companion, he's marked essential. Since Gojira was only in the game files, he doesn't really have a home. I'm in the mood to pull a prank, and I'm thinking someone or something needs a giant fire gecko for a neighbor.
Who do you think would "appreciate" Gojira as a roommate or neighbor?
Video: not forced perspective
Without titles, none of these folders display in the Photos app. I want to be rid of them - I don't care about whatever contents they might have.
I've tried displaying hidden titles, but, technically, these folders aren't hidden - so, they don't show up there. And, without titles, the folders can't really be searched. Is there some super secret wildcard character I don't know about? Or even some way to manage this on desktop?
EDIT: SOLVED
There's a ton of content on the site, and my poor brain can't remember it all, let alone who created what. By default, filenames include the title of the piece and the name of its creator. Having representative samples on hand helps me remember what I might want to buy or subscribe to. With the limit currently in place, I hesitate to download anything at all. I'm just saying, don't make it harder for me to be a paying customer.
I use F1 and F2 for screenshots and videos, respectively. Today, from the very first time I opened the game, F1 began opening my pip-boy. Literally, nothing changed from yesterday when F1 was taking screenshots for me.
I'm running Vanilla UI Plus and Universal Item Sorter, but, during this PT, my pip-boy has begun displaying some mods with the MODS: prefix and some without. Those with the prefix are all displayed within the MODS: section in the misc tab, those without are scattered alphabetically throughout the same tab.
EDIT/UPDATE - I seem to have fixed the screenshot problem, although I'm still not sure why it manifested in the first place and why what I did seems to have fixed it.
After going around with the problem from every angle I could think of, I reinstalled Vanilla UI Plus, this time selecting wasd controls.
The mod problem remains unchanged.
I got this yesterday, hoping it might be similar to Tasty Bite.
The box art lied. It was all one color, like something you'd spoon out of a can of dog food. It tasted worse than it looked - moderately spicy, but overcooked and unpleasantly flavorless. I'm tossing the uneaten portion, which is most of it. It may be the worst Indian food I've ever eaten.
I want to mod my game for screenshotting good looking women who may or may not be posing in the nude. But, without a sex mod framework as such. (I just finished my first NSFW Wabbajack and I'm looking to take a break playing the photographer in the wilderness.)
I'm now looking at what seem to be a few different types of mods - foundational mods (skeleton, body replacers, physics) cosmetic enhancements (NPC overhauls, skin, hair, eyes etc) outfits and poses.
I'm a bit lost where to place these elements relative to one another, particularly the foundational stuff. The mundane stuff has never been much of a problem, but I've never felt confident that I've been putting this part of my game together properly.
I have a clean, unmodded game right now. Just looking for a guideline.
I'm not even a casual user, but my new Pixel phone came with Gemini AI and a year's free premium service.
Every photo carries with it an implied "what happens next" and I wanted to see what that meant to Gemini.
This is a picture of Diane Kruger doing the photo call at Cannes in 2015. If you pause the video at the beginning, you'll see a single camera lens barely in frame to the right, while she looks away to the left. I didn't type a single word and Gemini showed what happened next.
I'm impressed, and I may be getting interested.
My favorite pic of her. Never found additional shots from this session, nor a legit higher resolution picture. Doesn't mean they're not out there though.
I'm using Viva New Vegas as a base, and learning xEdit as I go. This is what I've done so far - the part I have questions about is at the bottom. Where do those elements go in relation to one other and the rest of the list?

The part that sits in my downloads folder, not yet installed (partly NSFW):
It's kind of a PG-13 Wasteland of Depravity-inspired list.
Here's an old screenshot of Vegas. I was still playing in 1080p, and the file is sloppy seconds from Facebook.
I think it holds up.
I want to learn how to properly add mods to New Vegas and I made a separate installation of Viva New Vegas I can take my time with - it's as completely separate as I could make it from the copy I play on.
I'm reading Basics of xEdit. Is this the place to start?
If you're adding mods to VNV, where in the load order is considered a good starting placement for these types of mods?
A note on pose packs. I've been a photographer since I learned how to use a darkroom in high school. I compose and light my screenshots like photographs. Placing my actors where I want them, and in the actions I want to see, completes the picture, so to speak - hence pose packs.
Oblivion was my first Bethesda game and the first I played on PC - after a single run on PS3. I've played it every which way but this. Recently, I played Wasteland of Depravity and I want more - but in Cyrodiil.
