Looking to start hardcore/metalcore band- North Essex UK

I've wanted to start/join a band for a while, brought it up with a new friend recently and we're both guitarists,so we'd be needing bass drums and probably vocals too.

Not set on a specific genre yet, just something hardcore/metalcore adjacent.

Would be based in the North Essex area, and the Colchester sort of area is probably the best goal based on where us other 2 are.

We will need to figure out the logistics of practices and such, but if anyone is in the area and interested, send me a message and/or reply and we can get talking a bit.

Thanks in advance

Avocado Sourdough Toast with Tomato, Basil and Superstraccia

Me again! This was my lunch from today

I toasted the sourdough with Flora Plant but also some olive oil, then topped it with the avocado. I used a vine ripened tomato, salted and left for a bit - I'm sure any tomato works, but vine ripened ones are good and I had some. Added a few dots of Julienne Bruno Superstraccia, topped with some basil leaves.

I also dressed it with just a little balsamic vinegar for an extra lil element.

The particular sourdough is Bertinet Bakery seven seeds and grains

Vegan Pomodoro E Nduja Rigatoni

Fried some ushrooms, onion, and garlic while the pasta was cooking (ideally just shy of al dente). Then added vegan m&s nduja, and a tin of chopped tomotoes (they were pomodoro but I'm sure you could use any).

Let it reduce a little, add a little pasta water and the rigatoni, and I added some black olives here too. Reduce a little more and make sure everything is mixed together, and this helps finish off the pasta.

I added some cheese here too. If it was with dairy cheese it would be pecorino, but I could only get violife parmesan in it's place.

I topped it with some more of the cheese, and some basil to dress - I used a little basil in the last couple of minutes of cooking the pasta and sauce too, but that's optional really.

I also had some of an M&S olive ciabatta on the side with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar

Avocado Sourdough Toast with Vegan M&S Nduja and Julienne Bruno Superstraccia

My tesco express had some reduced avocados yesterday, so decided to make this for lunch earlier today! I had bought the other 2 things for seperate meals but thought I'd combine them!

Toasted with Flora Plant butter too

My first post, wanted to share something I made

Excuse the dish, I had already eaten some before I thought to take a picture xD food presentation might not look the prettiest either but was good

I'm not vegan myself but opt for plant based options whenever I can.

I made a curry/stew sort of thing tonight for me and my family. A couple big sweet potatoes, tin of green lentils, and a tin of butter beans. Had a leek that needed to be used up, tin of chopped tomatoes, a mixture of red and white onion, and some mixed peppers.

For herbs spices etc, even though I eyeballed it: couple cloves of garlic, tsp cumin, tsp coriander, tsp turmeric, 1-2 tsp curry powder, couple tsps smoked paprika, tsp mixed herbs, maybe about half to 1 tsp garlic granules (we love garlic in my house). Some salt and pepper to taste, and chilli powder to taste.

I also used some stock, amount will vary depending on how many you're serving but I used somewhere around the 750ml ballpark probably, just to help cook the potatoes mostly

Noticed these today, not sure what it could be from

I noticed these when I woke up. Don't have any pets, and I did check over my mattress and don't think there's any signs of bugs there.

That's on the same ankle, I do have a a similar bite or mark on the other ankle but less noticeable. Can't see anything on my arms or elsewhere

Health Harmonie ADHD+Autism Referral

So I recently went down the RTC route with HH Minds for both ADHD and Autism assessments, after waiting with the NHS/my GP for a couple of years. The initial questionnaires they'd sent were for both Autism and ADHD, although after that it seemed like it's only been ADHD they're assessing, e.g. in Assessment A.

I have Assessment B lined up, so I'm glad things are progressing. I'm just not sure if it's because they think it's more likely to be ADHD based on all the questionnaires plus anything my GP may have shared with them? Maybe the assessments are covering both but I overlooked that, or they'll do separate assessments for Autism?

Not sure if anyone has experience with this at all, but I thought I'd ask here
