why is paris so insanely unoptimised

this game in general is poorly optimised for pc. but paris is just on another level, I dont remember having this much lag in any other city in the game even though my fps is well above 100 all the time it feels like shit. I hope most of the dlc quests will be taking place somewhere else because this is unbearable

How are these accuracies equal?

We had almost the same amount of good and really good moves but he had so many more mistakes than I and somehow the accuracies are even?

Why does everyone abandon instead of resigning

I swear I see people abandoning games on loosing positions more often then people resigning, I understand that sometimes you get kicked out but this happens way too often and either they auto resign after a minute or make you wait until their timer runs out. Please just resign when you want to ragequit because the amount of my games that ended in having to wait for auto resign is fucking ridiculous and its ruining chess.com for me

What do I do against this stupid opening

No matter what I try I always end up in a defensive position with either my opponent controlling all of the center or or having pawns anchored into my position for the rest of the game

How good does steam deck perform in a bit older aaa games

I know it runs bad in new games, but what about 4+ years old aaa games like rdr2, ac odyssey/valhalla, doom eternal, diablo 4 or cyberpunk in 40+ fps with good frame times without having to butcher the image quality with 720p and fsr performance (low graphic settings are fine) I can get a used lcd 512gb for $420 which is a similiar price that a used rog ally z1e costs

was mfg image quality improved with the addition of x6?

I remember playing on x4 caused a lot of artifacts, so surely they kind of improved it while adding and x6? otherwise it would seem stupid to play on anything above x4 if it caused even more artifacting

The new maps are unplayable in nomad

Am I the only one who thinks that the shipwreck and desert maps are so laggy it makes them unplayable? I can bear the lag in the outpost maps but this is too much

What am I doing wrong in pcvr

Sometimes games run fine, sometimes they run and look like shit or dont launch at all, I just tried BaS on pc and after whole day of trying to make it playable I finally did, then for some reason it went back to running like shit with artifacts and popping in textures everywhere, green hell looks like its in 480p with graphical settings doing nothing no matter the setting, and then theres nms that doesnt even launch. Im playing on quest 3 wired to a high end pc but I'll just stick to standalone to avoid all this frustration

Has anyone tried virtual desktop on a 2.4ghz wifi?

I want to be able to play pcvr wirelessly through virtual desktop but I only have a 2.4ghz router, my pc is connected to it through a cable and I never have any issues with internet but I heard its not enough for vr, has anyone tried it

Terrible performance problems on pc

I have a 5070 ti with 14600k playing on quest 3 wired and even though I have high fps all the time the game feels terrible and unplayable, my dropped frame count is around 5 which idk if is good or bad and all the textures look noisy and sometimes artifacting, is there a way to fix this? My cable isnt the best but it worked fine in other games

Is crimson desert what Im looking for

In rdr2 I really liked how I could just go anywhere and always find something interesting to do and I havent really found a game that has the same feeling since, botw felt too empty for me with few unique locations, I also like the idea of clearing out objectives/locations over the map like in the modern assassins creeds (not neccessarily side quests) does crimson desert open world feel the same as rdr2 or more like assassins creed

Is having 50-60 accuracy in some games normal at 1100?

I feel like sometimes stockfish completely misses my thought proccess and the point of my moves and gives me mistake/miss for moves that helped me win a game or when I miss an 8 move sequence thats very hard to see at this level, most of my games are still 70-80 accuracy but sometimes I get even below 50 even when I win games and when it happens my opponents also have very low accuracy with the difference in accuracies rarely being over 5
