For real, most brazilians can understand spanish is you speak slowly, but if we try speaking portuguese to a Spanish speaker they look at us like we're aliens wtf??

And brazilian pt is the easy one, we speak a lot slower and enounciate vowels better than european portuguese, so I'd like to know what is like for a latino spanish speaker to hear brazilian portuguese, why is it hard?

Hello everyone. I've put up 15kg after being under a new medication, and got a nice belly.

I'm off the meds now and hitting the gym frequently, so I hope to lose the extra weight soon.

However I'm worried about the extra skin after I lose the belly.

I'm a 30M, I wonder if this extra stuff goes away easily, or if there are any sort of creams or oils I should get to solve this

I need to vent a bit, because an experience I've been dreaming about for a decade ended up being kinda underwhelming. Not at Florence herself, she was amazing of course.

I've always read all around social media how FaTM concerts were a such a community experience, feeling one with the music and other fans, so I was very disappointed when I saw multiple people in the crowd complaining about others who were jumping and dancing?

I saw a headline that the crowd in Berlin was so energetic that it triggered a 1.4 magnitude earthquake-like tremor. I mean, germans are famous for being stone cold and they did that, so my expectations were sky high.

I mean it was a festival, not a theater. And older folks were demanding the crowd to be quiet while Florence herself was telling us to jump?

And that happened like 2m away from the barricades, that's the place to go crazy! (not crazy in the sense to be annoying and pushing others, but you should expect people to dance and scream and get emotional)

I can only hope that , on the next tour, I can find a better crowd to enjoy her music how it should be enjoyed

Hi girlies, I was thinking how stressing must be for artists when some of their biggest hits features some of their hardest vocal performances, and they're cursed to sing them hundreds of times a year.

Spectrum by Florence and the Machine has several F#5 belts, which are super hard for a mezzo like Flo, and nowadays she mostly avoids those notes and let the crowd sing them

Ariana Grande has Problem with G#5 on the chorus, even though she's a soprano it must be stressful to sing that high so many times a year every tour

Alicia Keys already said she regrets recording Girl on Fire on such a high key, featuring multiple sustained C#5s and E5 on the chorus, which is very high for an Alto

What other exemples can you think of?

I swear, I'm kinda pissed this song is not included in the new tour.

Say what you want about Solar Power, but this song is one of Lorde's best, being as deep and impactful as Liability or David. The way she talks about her career, her love life, her family, all in one song!

I'm seeing her in July and I'm devastated I won't get to see it live again 😭
