I can’t decide which votann sub faction to do because I’m torn between three different ones being the greater thuiran league, URSR, and the ymyr comglomgerate all for different reason.
i like the paint style of GTL, the lore of URSR and the overall theme of the ymyr but I can’t decide which one. my main issue with GTL is that I find there lore to be mid and them to be rather basic, my issue with URSR is how they have very little amounts of lore and how when painted they look like chubby cadians and with ymyr I just find them all around okay not great not awful, decent look decent lore not a huge fan of the red but don’t hate it like the lore but doesn’t stick out to me
can I have some advice on what to do to either decide which one to do or find solutions to my issues with each and before I’m suggested doing my own league I just prefer a pre-existing sub faction
I have 720 points of kroot at the moment which I bought for a tournament but after a battle with my friend I’m having doubts whether this is the army for me
in the battle it is safe to say my kroot were destroyed with around 1/4 of my army dying in the first shooting phase ( against thousand sons) which lead me to question whether I should stay with kroot and hope for the best or if I should sell my kroot and get a new army
that and the fact that I’ve lost most of my interest in kroot from a hobby side as well
mid it worth finding a new army that I may enjoy more or should I stick to kroot and just use them anyway
I’m thinking about doing ad mech as a new army and was wondering about the details of it and if i‘m able to make a decent semi elite army with good melee
I was thinking about an 1000 point army that primary focuses on strong heavy hitting units that also have some staying power like kastellan robots, I was also thing about have a few ruststalkers and electro priests as well with a units or two of skitarri
does ad mech support this kind of play style well and would it be viable in a competitive setting along side being a fun casual army
this is my first time doing proper highlights and I’m trying to make it look like fur but to me it sort of looks like skin which I’m not going for, opinion?
are there any suggestions on what to add be it functionally or decoratively I was thinking about adding some gnoblars since there gone

I already have a bit over 1000 points of slyvanth and was wondering if I should finish it or not and if I was too how would I do it
I want to do a more kurnoth side of the army and have alariel but after looking at it he point cost of everything I don’t know how to do it without going over 2000 points

I’m wondering whether to do fyreslayers as an army or not for a while now but I’m not sure
i like their minis but they have a small range
i like there lore but there isn’t much of it
that and a few other things, is it worth doing them now or should I wait until they get some more minis?
I’m wondering if I should do harlequins or not? I like their look and lore but was wondering about your opinions on them and if they are worth doing in 11th
also ive done some research on their rules but I didn’t find a clear answer to how difficult they are for new / mediocre players
so can some people give me some advice on my quires and if it would be worth starting with their combat patrol while it’s still in stock in some places
