Thoughts about Ippo after 1000 chapters...

Hey guys, rereading after around half a decade. Anyone a bit let down on who Ippo fought against after Sawamura?

Granted I have no knowledge or real interest in real life Boxing but in the OPBF arcs he fought against so many gimmick fighters, I don't really understand the purpose of those fights, sure overcoming those gimmicks allowed him to build up experience and toughness but at the very top level those gimmicks are obsolete really. He had so many fights yet Miyata and Vorg best opponent in the ring outdid anything Ippo faced really. They at least were well rounded boxers and didn't rely on some bs or cheap moves to do well.

Some of the title defences in my opinion didn't add anything to the story, bums like Karasawa and that dude that was in Aoki's weight class. What a waste of time that was.

I just feel like Ippo had stagnated compared to his peers, yes I know about the Dempsey roll evolution and getting him ready for the world stage but every time in the ring Ippo gets hit like a million times, why isn't his defence being worked upon. After the Woli fight I really seen just how limited Ippo is and it was like that fight alone was his limit as a fighter.

And now Ippo is making a huge jump facing Alfredo, again sorry if I got some things incorrect, just got back into the series. Just feel like Ippo's career management hasn't been the best.

Issues with colleague after saying no more lifts to work...

Hey guys, I posted on Reddit before about this situation. I was moving job locations with a handful of colleagues. One of them didn't have a driving licence but lived 10 mins near me, he asked if I could pick&drop him off so he can move as well.

I agreed as it was supposed to be short term as he does his licence, he had a baby on the way so I wanted to help, it was this or being unemployed and he was paying me. Around 5 months into the job, he failed his test and hasn't done another test or lesson since, it's been around 4 months. When I ask he says it's expensive and he has a lot going on, I ask every week but he brushes it aside.

He has moved home and another colleague is helping him but normally he asks me for help like 2 days a week. Since he moved, I haven't asked for money.

Some of my other colleagues told me he has gotten 'comfortable' and isn't doing what he's supposed to. Now after helping all these months, I have really seen the value of being by yourself in the car for a brief moment before work and sometimes I drop my parents somewhere so it's gotten inconvenient. As some on here told me, I should just be honest and tell them I can't do it anymore, and I did it a few days ago.

Now things are kinda awkward. The day the other colleague wasn't in to pick him up, he didn't come to work. And when he did come, it was just a few seconds of conversation and that was it, we're in a group of few colleagues that go break together and it's a bit off, sure the others complain about him at times but haven't done anything as drastic as me. There's only one other colleague who can pick him out, and he's going on holiday soon.

Like I feel bad since it's a 3 hour trip to work with public transport as it's inaccessible or an expensive Uber, he has a 3/4 months old baby now but he had so much time to do his licence and I just want to be alone, I still told him I am more than happy to drop him off at the train station after work.

One of my cats passed away around 4 months ago and I've had him since I was little, everyday at times I feel really empty and mentally checked out, it was a traumatic few months seeing his health deteriorate and I get flashes in my mind daily of him suffering. It's probably something minor to all of you but I am someone who has always kept to myself and doesn't like having people close except family. That moment alone just helps me get ready for work.

Is it unreasonable to not give this colleague a lift to work now?

I was being made redundant with this colleague from my old job due to the site closing, luckily the same company had another location taking on staff.

You need a car to get to the location. This colleague who lived near me asked if I could pick him up and drop him off and he'll pay me for it, I accepted because they had a baby on the way and being unemployed is not easy.

They told me they'll do their driving licence and then get a car so basically it should've been a thing for only a couple months. Well they failed their test and now for half a year straight they haven't taken a lesson or test. When I ask about it, they brush it aside and aren't interested to do it.

They have moved home but are still on my schedule, although another colleague is helping them 70% of the time, they are still asking to be picked up somewhere when the other colleague ain't in.

I've told him several times now that they need to change their schedule to match the other colleague for months, and that I am busy sometimes dropping my parents somewhere so don't rely on me. I stopped asking for money after they moved anyway and I realised just how valuable time is by yourself before work.

I don't mind dropping them off somewhere after work but being picked up is becoming annoying. Everyone in my circle is saying they got comfortable. It's kinda awkward at work when I decline helping and knowing they had to get an Uber or long train journey...

Is the parcel lost?

Was supposed to come by Tuesday/ Wednesday. Idm waiting but it literally hasn't been scanned since being dropped off.

Obviously by the Monday a RM worker should have taken it.

Evri mixed up labelling and I received the wrong parcel.

Kinda pissed, I ordered from AliExpress and now this happens. I received a football shirt instead of a rare figure, I assume the person that the shirt was supposed to go to got my item.

Is there anyway to receive the item I ordered? I can't buy it anymore unless I import from Japan.. AliExpress told me to dispute a refund whilst Evri live chat are looking into the problem.

Barclays switch....

My switch got completed on the 28th. Did every step and there's still 2k in the account. But now it's been nearly 2 weeks and there's not been any messages about qualifying for the reward.

This bank is kinda mid compared to how other banks do this so much easier and quicker. I called 4 days ago but the lady told me to wait and it takes up to 45 days but surely you should get the message by now at least.

Live chat not working either. Won't be banking with em that's for sure. I owe myself £300 quid so this is supposed to be the easier way to get some money...😓

Would Z Broly eventually been able to control his overflowing Ki in his LSSJ form?

As we know, Broly's body after transformation constantly generated Ki at a rate where eventually he couldn't handle despite constantly dishing out a huge amount in combat and to destroy Planet Shamo.

A couple of times he had to take flight and disperse the Ki as it started overflowing and was likely a reason why he was defeated at the end of the Movie.

Do you guys think Broly being controlled with the Crown device by Paragus impacted his ability to get used to his body in its final form and the overflowing Ki problem?

We see in a flashback, Paragus puts the control device on Broly likely when he just turned into an adult as Paragus still looked in his prime.

Let's say Broly after that never transformed until fighting the Z fighters as the controlling device never broke on him before, he wouldn't have gotten used to using the LSSJ or his full power and adapted to it.

Despite all this, Broly in his LSSJ form is fully conscious, and still has amazing control of his body movements, speed and Ki control of what he could handle, which funnily enough is totally opposite to his 2 DBS counterparts.

Barclays stuck on identity Check verification for 2 days now when it was supposed to take a few minutes.

Is there anything I can do? Can only leave and wait on the app but it clearly says it should've taken only a couple minutes...
