Prior to ROTJ, do Luke & Leia realize they share a birthday?
I’ve never seen this question asked before. Unless Luke or Leia has a falsified birthdate, they both publicly are born on the same day. Has any media set prior to ROTJ ever had them learning this about each other, but obviously not making the familial connection?
Squaring The Hunt for the Falcon comic and TFA
I finished reading the 5 issue “Hunt for the Falcon” series, and the ending feels super odd. Han tracks the Falcon to Jakku, fights Unkar Plutt there, but is shot and decides to leave Jakku, ultimately abandoning the search for a time to ostensibly prioritize family.
I feel like this doesn’t fit well with where we see Han in TFA:
\- He hasn’t reconciled with Leia by TFA, and with this story being set c. 31-34 ABY Ben is already Kylo Ren
\- As best we know, Han doesn’t return to Jakku to pick up his best lead. Unkar admits to having the Falcon, though Han doesn’t see it firsthand
Does anyone have headcanon(s) of how this better lines up with Han & Chewie as we see them in TFA? I can’t for the life of me think of a reason Han wouldn’t return to Jakku to look for the Falcon, especially with Unkar admitting he has it.

How difficult is it to adjust roof rack bar spacing?
I’ve got the Kia factory roof rack bars. We’re looking to get a Thule cargo box, but I’m pretty sure the bars are set a hair too wide for the box I’m getting. Is it very difficult to adjust the distance between the roof racks running horizontally across the car?
Is (spoiler) from Legacy of Vader dead?
In Legacy of Vader issues 6 and 7, we meet Grandea, Order 66 survivor and unparalleled master of the mind trick. We see Kylo cut her down before she mocks him and the village vanishes, replaced with ruins.
My interpretation is that she was never physically present with him and used mind trick abilities the whole time from afar, and the lively village as a whole is an illusion. Is the general interpretation of their fight is that she is still alive?
Edit: just finished issue 12, that issue further supports what the majority of people are saying here.
Shadows of Mindor is a great example of the importance of context
So I decided to read Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor following Shatterpoint, as it carried over a few characters from that book, and I recently read The Truce at Bakura set shortly before this. It was more miss than hit for me, but I think that’s mostly because I’m removed from the original context.
The impression I get is that the book is a love letter to the Bantam era, post ROTJ books with an imperial villain of the week with wacky powers. I never read many of those books, so even though I was aware of the meta context, it didn’t land for me since I haven’t read those books (yet).
I think this book is a strong argument as to why strict chronological readings of Star Wars books is NOT the optimal way to read. Not unlike the high Republic where reading phase 2 gets the full effect if you’ve read phase 1 set later first, this book is better as an epilogue to the Bantam era books.
Is there a list of High Republic cards?
Learned about Star Wars unlimited recently, and I’ve heard there’s a few high republic cards. Is there a full list anywhere, or a filter to cards from that era?

Plot twist of misremembered wiki (spoilers: Tarkin)
I’ve been getting back into star wars books in the last few years with the High Republic, and have been working through the back catalogue since. I decided to listen to Tarkin, and had a fantastic misunderstanding.
I had read Tarkin’s wiki or a lore video some years back, and I vaguely remembered Berch Teller’s Rebel cell being a thing. I also remember him having an ally high up in the Imperial Admiralty. Early on in the book, Tarkin runs into Admiral Nils Tenant, a minor character from the clone wars. Oh, I thought, a villain from Tarkin’s past- a close confidant to twist the metaphorical knife.
So I waited to the shoe to drop, while thinking that Rancit would be a more logical choice of villain- only to realize after the reveal my poor memory gave me a solid twist.
