Today was awesome.
Guys i initiated a protest in my city today.
Yesterday I was doomscrolling through Reddit and came across a post about a protest happening in another small city. I reposted it on r/Gwalior and asked something along the lines of, "When are we gonna do something like this in Gwalior?" because literally nothing was happening here.
A few hours later, someone commented, "What's stopping us from using this post and organizing one tomorrow?"
So I DM'd him at around 12:30 AM, and that's where it all started.
We spent the night brainstorming, making posters with Gemini, figuring out what to write, and trying to make it look somewhat organized. We even made a poll on the subreddit to decide the location... which got a grand total of 4 votes—one from me, one from him, and two other people 💀.
Neither of us actually expected anyone to show up. We thought maybe 6–8 people at best because Gwalior isn't exactly known for spontaneous public movements. We were even worried about the legal side of things until we realized that with a small gathering, it probably wouldn't be an issue.
The next morning, he got the posters printed and invited a few of his friends. We posted the location and posters on the subreddit and in a couple of groups, then just hoped for the best.
When I reached the venue at 6 PM after my classes, there were only like four people there—including me. We just stood around holding our posters and playing songs on a tiny Bluetooth speaker.
Then, slowly, people started showing up.
Someone from the Gwalior Breaking page came and started recording. More people arrived. Then even more. Before we knew it, a bunch of Gwalior content creators had shown up, along with a surprisingly large crowd.
What started as two random Redditors talking at 12:30 in the night had turned into a successful public protest by 6 PM the very next day—roughly 18 hours later.
It all happened ridiculously fast.
I genuinely never expected something as random as my Reddit post would snowball into something this big. It feels pretty surreal knowing I got to be a part of Gwalior's first initiative like this.
used ai to make it readable ;-;
Guys i initiated a protest in my city today.
So story time: Yesterday i was scrolling on reddit and found a protest's post from a small city.. And i reposted to my city's subreddit asking "When are we gonna do smthg like this in gwalior" as there was literally nothing happening here. A few hours later someone commented on that post saying "whats stopping us from usinig this post and starting a protest tmrw" or smthg idrk..
So i DMed him at night at around 12:04 and we started talking what we can do and started making posters with Gemini and stuff. Also made a poll on the sub to ask which location to host it at, andddd we got a total of 4 votes- one from me, one from the guy and two others- we didnt expect anyone to come- atleast i.. but still we just picked a location and showed up at it after posting the location and posters on the subreddit and a few gorups. We were worried about the legal stuff but then realised if its less than 50 peopple no one cares and nothing will happen, and we thought only 6-8 people would show up coz its a pretty dead city lol.
The next morning, i think that guy invited his freindss and got the posters printed.
When i arrived there at 6pm after my classes got over- there were like 4 people- including me. So we just sat there holding our posters and playing songss on a little bluetooth speaker. A few people started coming slowly then someone from GwaliorBreaking's page came and started recording or something and then slowly few more people came and then suddenly half of the gwalior's content creators were there, a lot of people and stuff. This first initiative in gwalior was really successfull. And it lowk feels great that i was a part of it. I never expected that many people to come.
So what started as my random post on a sub- lead to something this big.

I can't find the HDD on my PC and it is continuously beeping.
used ai to make my english readble-
so i have a family desktop PC with an Intel i3, 8GB RAM, no dedicated GPU. It has an SSD for Windows and a separate HDD for storage (important family files, ~20 years of data). I hadn’t used it for a few months. Today, when I turned it on, it started making a continuous beeping sound (like a beep every second) during boot. After a while, it finally booted into Windows and everything looked normal at first — all files were accessible, everything seemed fine. But after a few minutes, things started breaking: I reopened “This PC” and my HDD was gone (only C: drive was visible) Task Manager showed the HDD with 0% usage After restarting, the HDD completely disappeared from Windows (File Explorer, Task Manager, everything) The continuous beeping is still happening For context: the last time I used this PC, I had temporarily installed an old GTX 1050 GPU I had lying around. It didn’t really work out, so I removed it. After that everything seemed fine, and this is the first time I’m powering it on since then. Now I’m worried because the HDD has around 20 years of important family data on it. How do i fix it?
guys should i buy this powerbank?
the 799 price tag looks really tempting. also my s20 fe 5g's charges only at a specific angle now so i need a wireless thingy to charge my phone lol.

also probably not a good idea to post this on reddit but whatwvwr lol
a short note for people who post stuff like this on this sub:
im byond tired of seeing posts like this on this sub.
and bro u/used-yak4479 thats fucking pathetic. how fucking desprate can someone be. bro youre just a fucking sad horny loser with zero game no personality and most importantly no fucking respect for women. the fact that you think that you might even have a chance to talk to someone of the opposite gender with this low effort creep shit is byond crazy. get a fucking job, tocuh grass, go outside and talk to people in real life. delete your fucking reddit account and stop polluting this subreddit. shitty creeps like you are exactly why actual woemn feel uncomfortable participating in local communities. grow the fuck up or keep wondering why youre always single and unwanted for eternity. this is for all those fucking losers who pollute this sub or other city's subs.
also where the hell are the moderators? there has been countless times where people have tried to address this issue but still it stays the same.
