Wtf are these plot decisions?

I've seen the season finale, but what bugs me the most are the plot inconsistencies and the events that feel forced.

>!So Beth and Rip have this legendary cattle bloodline, and then a disease just wipes it out. Seriously, what was the point of that? Then they go to work over the 10 Petal Ranch, everyone somehow knows they're running the Edwards Ranch, and not a single person asks what happened to the cattle? That whole plot feels like it skipped a few chapters.!<

[EU] Potential scammer tried to move me from Reddit chat to Discord

I was contacted out of the blue via DM by an account that is 6 years old. They tried to get me to move the conversation over to Discord.

They claimed that they accidentally reported an impersonation of my Reddit profile and were contacted by Reddit support. Now, this user is reaching out to me because they claim Reddit needs to validate my identity by having me DM a specific Discord user.

I have already flagged these messages using the flag tool, although I still haven't blocked them. Is this usual for a six-year-old account that seems to be active in several communities?

Control Resonant Steelbook in Europe?

Does anyone know if the Steelbook edition of Control Resonant is already sold out across Europe? I've been trying to find online, but it either isn't listed or shows as unavailable.

Has anyone in Europe managed to preorder it recently, or have any stores confirmed that they'll be getting more stock?

Quality over quantity. I really hope a few of these 1,000 NPCs actually feel unique.

Associate game director Craig Littler recently told GameSpot:

"There are over 1,000 handcrafted NPCs in the game, and you can get into a relationship with any of them–or all of them–indeed, if that’s what you want to do."

While that sounds cool and ambitious, my main concern isn't the number of characters, it's the depth and the design

If I'm going to actually care about these relationships, at least some NPCs need to be exceptionally meaningful. I’d much rather have fewer characters with real depth than a massive roster of hollow NPCs

Also, please give them diverse body proportions and faces. Nothing kills immersion faster than every NPC looking like they were pulled from the same cookie-cutter.

I enjoy well-written dark or seductive female characters, they add a lot to the atmosphere and overall appeal. It’s the whole gothic vibe, the mystery, the danger, the charisma… it makes the world feel richer and more immersive.

Games like The Blood of Dawnwalker, much like The Witcher III, tend to lean heavily into tone and character, so it would feel like a missed opportunity not to include them.
