Lil Man and one of his backyard adversaries. We couldn't stop him in time and now he's making sure it doesn't move again.

Updates

I haven't used my ST in over a year and I'm wondering about updates/ battery life. Guess I'll have to charge the battery and take it in to the dealer before I use it?

5.7 Carbine

I have a Ruger 5.7 carbine that I bought a couple years back specifically for fox. I know, I know expensive ammo, comparable to a .22 mag.... I wanted a new gun OK? 🤣. My question is this, does anyone have one that shoots worth a damn? Mine, as Ruger stated in a phone call to them is a 3 moa gun, hardly acceptable. I plan on replacing the trigger/ springs and adding a shim to the wobbly collapsible stock to try and improve it. Any constructive advice or insight from owners of the same is welcome.

Today is my daughter's birthday

I just drove 1½ hours one way to pick up a Smith Island birthday cake for my daughter. For those of you who don't know what a Smith Island cake is, it's multi thin layers of cake iced in between to about the standard height of a two layer cake. I came home, put the cake on the kitchen table and went to a neighbors house for 10 mins. to give him a hat. I get back in only to find one of the dogs had gotten it off the table and ate over half of it...... $50 cake, $20 in tolls over the CBBT and now a vet bill. Fat little azzhole.

Is anyone here at the Cheshire Fairgrounds in New Hampshire for the BT Conformation? Maybe at Fast Cat or Earth Dog at the Gun & Rod club in Gardner Mass? There are some great people and dogs showing up!

No respect

We live in a nice neighborhood and our next door neighbors have been a pita for years. From property line disputes to vermin overflow from their yard. After my old neighbors wife (She, like myself kept the yard looking like a park) passed and a few months later he married a woman from the Philippines half his age, he was in his eighties. Hey more power to him. I loved the guy, he was Chinese and had the most interesting stories. Well, his wife started cutting the grass and couldn't turn the riding lawnmower very well and would do a 10 to 15 ft arc into my yard scalping it. I was using ChemLawn at the time and the incursion was allowing dandelions and weeds to get a foothold. After repeated requests to stop I had to put up a cedar rail fence on my side of the property line. Next was parking. Extended family moved in and they put up walls in their garage creating rooms to accommodate them. Just studs and drywall. With them came more cars and they are constantly parking crowding/ blocking my driveway, more aggravation. They let their backyard turn into a jungle then put old fence sections and huge cardboard boxes down to control the weeds. This allowed rats to create a haven for themselves. At this point I involved the city. They were cited and given x number of days to clean up their yard. I lent them the tools to do so, then had to remind them several times to return them. The yard is once again getting overgrown and I'm having to eradicate poison ivy yearly that grows from their side over to mine. They've now started throwing kitchen scraps out their back door for the "birds" but the rats are back. I can't put poison down because of the dogs so we trap and kill them. I've found food scraps in my yard, pool and on my back porch where birds and animals drop them. A large piece of chicken even made it into my pool. My dogs are eating god knows what that makes it over my fence. And I've repeatedly asked them to stop to no avail. Looks like I'll have to call the city once again to intervene.
