A month after launch, following several player-requested updates and with nothing but positive reviews so far, I'd like to share a short gameplay clip from SliceTheRhythm featuring Richard Carter – Le Monde.

Looking for feedback on VR rhythm combat gameplay

https://youtu.be/cQBLh1fKfJk

Hi everyone!

I'm a solo VR developer working on a rhythm combat game for Meta Quest.

I recently recorded new gameplay and I'd really appreciate some honest feedback.

I'm especially interested in:

  • Does the combat look satisfying?
  • Is it clear what the player is supposed to do?
  • Would this trailer make you interested in trying the game?
  • What would you improve?

Thanks for taking the time to watch!

360 rhythm combat vol 2

https://youtu.be/TqcheAU_5Qo

Hi everyone!

After talking with players and listening to the community, I decided to rename the game to Slice The Rhythm.

I'd really appreciate it if you could give a chance and share your honest thoughts.

I'm especially interested in:

  • Does the trailer make you want to play, or does it put you off?
  • After playing, did the game match what the trailer promised?
  • What was your overall impression of the gameplay?
  • What would you improve?

So far, everyone who's actually played the game has given me very positive feedback, which has been incredibly motivating. I genuinely hope you'll enjoy it too, but I'm not looking for praise—I want honest opinions and constructive criticism that can help make the game even better.

Thanks for taking the time to try it out and leave your feedback. It really means a lot to an indie developer! ❤️

360 rhythm combat

Hey everyone,

I'd love to get some honest advice from the community.

I've spent a long time developing a VR rhythm combat game that I'm genuinely proud of. The gameplay is fast, satisfying, and a bit different from other rhythm games. So far, everyone who's actually played it—reviewers and testers alike—has been pleasantly surprised and has said the game has real potential.

The problem is... the name.

Unfortunately, it's too late to change it, so I'd rather not dwell on that. Instead, I'd really like to hear from players, developers, and anyone with marketing experience.

What would you do to convince people to at least try the 30-minute demo, even if the title doesn't immediately grab them?

I'd really appreciate any honest feedback after checking out the trailer or gameplay. If you have ideas on how to market the game in a way that gets people to look past the name and focus on the gameplay, I'm all ears.

Meta Store (30-minute demo available): https://www.meta.com/pl-pl/experiences/six-seven/2787023821684229/

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I'd much rather improve how I present the game than keep wondering whether the name is stopping people before they even give it a chance.

360° rhythm combat

Hi everyone!
I've been working solo for over two years on a VR rhythm combat game called Six Seven.

Instead of slicing blocks, the gameplay is built around 360° melee combat. Every attack comes from a different direction, and timing is everything.

Players can also import their own music and create custom combat patterns.

I'd genuinely love to hear what the VR community thinks about this concept. What do you like? What would you improve?
