I am struggling with this so can anyone enlighten me please? I just don’t see how comparing beauty standards / physique / ‘grace’ isn’t simply buying into patriarchy but masquerading as ‘sisterhood.’ I’m interested in perspectives on this as happy to be enlightened and my mind opened, but there is nothing true that I can see in this at all?

What I’m reading is they are suggesting that they are distinguishing themselves from children / women in their 20s by promoting women who wouldn’t usually take up these spaces. I just see monetisation of the need to remain visible.

Rolf Harris singled me out from the audience at a show in uni fresher’s week and kept making creepy pervy comments, it seemed only some of the boys found funny.

When he was arrested, friends from back then contacted me immediately as it made them uncomfortable for me.

Funny thing, only recently told my Mum about it for the first time recently.

Obviously not enough to have gone to the police about.

I wondered how many other Brits had had creepy gross encounters with them and other celebs who were legends in the 80s? Or Americans with Cosby / Epstein etc?

Has anyone had a plantar sole of the foot Morton’s neuroma excision?

My case was more complex—two neuromas were removed—so I’m especially interested in similar recovery experiences.

Uncovered Comfort: When did you feel comfortable leaving it uncovered?
Walking Recovery: When did walking start to feel fairly normal?

Only just had my op 3 days ago. It got postponed after we booked annual leave which is in a month’s time.
My husband is desperate for a holiday and does not want to stay at home & enjoy the garden à la 2020!
We won’t book anything until after I go to dressing clinic in two weeks’ time, and if we go abroad, it will be short haul within Europe. We will request airport wheelchair assistance.
Not planning on anything crazy like a really active holiday, but wondered what people overall, who didn’t have complications found your recovery was like in terms of mobility 4 weeks later so we can plan? TIA.

Silly question alert.
I’ve been sent instructions to bring pyjamas for post op after I have a Morton’s neuroma and bursa excision soon.
Won’t it be really hard to put pyjamas on over my foot? Would I not be better to bring a dress?
The aim is I will be going home on the same day.

It’s not about being unable to afford things. Plenty of people have the time and money to go somewhere new, try a hobby, visit a new place, see a show, explore a nearby town; or just do something different occasionally.

Instead, they seem happy doing the same things week after week, year after year. Same places, same routines, same conversations.

I feel increasingly that curiosity, or even a sense of fun & adventure might be much rarer than people like to admit?

Despite loving a good Victoria sponge cake, and ice cream, my husband hates any whiff of vanilla in candles. I’m not a fan of strongly gourmand vanilla perfumes tbh either.

However, I’d really like a nice boutique coffee shop fragranced candle, if such a thing exists, minus vanilla. I want to smell a good double shot espresso with dark chocolate, or brown sugar, maybe cinnamon… Can anyone advise please? I want to smell luxury coffee shop without leaving the house, or baking, or drinking caffeinating after 3pm! X
