Adding SD Card

I have a Galaxy A03 and I've been reading that this model allows for a new SD card to be added to increase storage space. First, I want to confirm this is correct, then if so I have questions.

First, I'd need to understand how to install the new card and whether it will be in addition to, or a replacement for, the existing card.

Second, how will it affect the phone itself? Once the new card is in, will everything on the phone work as before or will it be like doing a reset?

Tommy Tune

I was just watching the episodes where the Neighborhood of Make Believe had a visit from Tommy Tune. Not being familiar with Mr. Tune, my first thought upon seeing him was to wonder if I wasn't looking at a very young Hugh Jackman.

It turns out Tommy Tune is a famous choreographer, who is still alive at age 87. At the time of his appearance, he was in his late 40s, whereas Hugh Jackman was still a teenager, but I still say there's a strong resemblance.

Uninstalling Apps

I want to delete some apps to make more space on my phone, but many of them don't seem to allow it. For others, there's a very obvious "Uninstall" option, but what can I do when this option doesn't show?

Is It Really So Hard To Get Your Customers What They Need?

I can't believe how bad their customer service is. I've now had two consecutive orders get screwed up in the exact same way. The first time, I called the main number and ultimately got them to issue me a refund for the missing items.

When they screwed up the second time, I called again. During a painful hour on the phone, I gave all necessary details to Guy #1, only to be disconnected mid-call and "transferred" to Guy #2, who had no idea what was going on and made me start the whole process over from scratch. I was promised that the missing items would be shipped out.

When nothing arrived after two weeks, I called again. I was informed there was nothing on my account suggesting the previous call had ever taken place, and that they could only issue a refund as reshipping the items was not possible. I find myself wondering if Guy #2 even worked for Lowe's???

I just sent them a very unhappy email, that I'm sure will be ignored. I'd be very happy to drop them altogether, except they have an item I buy often for my workplace that is significantly more expensive everywhere else.

"24" vs. "Psych" -- Shared Actors

Not sure if anyone here is a fan of the show 24, but I was watching it earlier and realized this single episode featured four actors who also guest starred on Psych. They were William Devane, Jean Smart, Peter Weller and Ray Wise.

This was from S5 of 24, which also featured Timothy Omundson in an earlier episode. Too bad he couldn't have appeared in this one.

Intentional Or Coincidence?

I was watching a series of episodes that I don't recall ever seeing before when something odd occurred to me. There was a Neighborhood of Make Believe storyline where we find out that there's a locked room in Lady Elaine's museum that even she has never been inside of. This room supposedly contains a rare toy shaped like an elephant.

At the end of the week, they're finally able to enter the room, and all they find is a ratty old metal box containing a penny. Using their imagination they are able to visualize the penny as an elephant after tossing it in the air.

What occurred to me is that these shows aired in 1986, the same year as a certain notorious TV special involving Geraldo Rivera. I realize none of the preschool aged audience would know about that, but I'm wondering if this may have been an inside joke for the parents.

Out Of Space?

I have a Galaxy A03s, with 32GB of space. I bought this 18 months ago, as my previous phone (which had 16GB) was running out of space, among other problems.

Tonight I got a notice that my phone is at 94% capacity. I'm very aggravated. I deleted all photos from the device. I went to clear the cache and found it at zero for every app on the phone. Looking at My Files, it shows everything as empty except for 181 KB in "other files."

So what is it? How can I figure out what is sucking up so much space? I absolutely do not want to get another phone already.

My Account Has Been Locked?

I just received an email suggesting that my Samsung account has been locked and suggesting I click a link to reset my password. Is this a phishing attempt? My phone is working just fine.

Customer Service

I ordered some glass cleaner from Lowe's for my job. Twice now, they shipped me one box when I ordered four. I spoke with an associate via text chat but they said I had to call the phone number. The phone number appears designed to make a person go insane.

It took me forever to get past their bot's original question. Then I got to a point where I passed the first three questions but somehow one of my answers brought me back to the original question and I finally hung up. Is there anyone out there who actually gets helped by these bot menus???

Fairfield County Morning Traffic

At what time on a weekday morning does southbound 1-95 traffic start to become unbearable?

I'm asking because in a few months I will likely need to head down that way on a Tuesday, and I'm thinking of getting up at 3:00 AM and wondering if that's too extreme.

AITAH for being more annoyed than sympathetic?

I’m feeling a bit bad right now because I’m more annoyed than sympathetic regarding a friend’s request.  I have a longtime friend (I’ll call him “Stan”), who is possibly the most paranoid person I know.  Most of the time I just shrug this off, but sometimes his issues intrude on our group plans and it gets aggravating.

He’s one of three guys I regularly meet up with on Sundays.  When the weather is nice, we meet outdoors, but given that we have more cold weather than warm, this is generally limited to 5 months a year, so to me the time is precious.  And I’m much happier when we meet outdoors.

Anyhow, once the nice weather hits, Stan, like clockwork, somehow manages to find all kinds of reasons not to meet outdoors.  He worries his health will be impacted if it’s too hot.  Or he sees a slim chance of storms and worries that we’ll get rained on.  We’ve only met outdoors once this year, but tomorrow is supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny, and I was all ready for it.  So of course he writes that he has a skin rash that was “obviously” caused by the hot weather and refuses to be outdoors right now.

So, I’m feeling like a bad friend right now because I’m making this about me, but I’m also annoyed because I feel like the rest of us are frequently giving up our summer enjoyment to cater to this guy.  It’s almost unheard of that anyone else in our group requests changes in plans for personal needs, but multiple times a year we do it for Stan.

Last weekend I bought two items at Kohl's. I wasn't enthralled with the experience and intend to return or exchange both items.

The first was a set of bedsheets. At checkout, the price came out to more than double what I was expecting. Afterwards, I checked the shelf again only to discover I was buying "ultra soft" sheets and the listed prices were for "extra soft." There were only 2 "ultra soft" sheets on the entire shelf mixed in with the others and no prices listed for these. Also, how much better could they be that the price was more than double?

I also bought a wallet, which ultimately turned out to be too small. The problem here is that the wallet is packaged in such a way that you can't measure it until you cut it out of the box. How am I supposed to compare it to my existing wallet under those conditions?
