Did you know? If you idle at the final area for 2 hours in RE: Outbreak, the missiles will come and just kill you.

Never saw footage of this anywhere and even myself I doubted it after hearing rumors, but it's true.

(Footage is with emulator speed up.)

How to get vr chat framerate to not tank when window isn't in focus on computer?

Just was wondering if anyone had experience with this. It's never happened before but for some reason when I was streaming the framerate would tank if I didn't have the window as the focus on my computer. (I use a quest 2 to actually play but my computer is handling the game and everything off vr chat I have to manage.)

Do you think overlays are out of style now?

To be clear I don't mean stuff like 'latest follower' or 'latest subscriber' putting people's name on the screen, stuff like that has been out of style for ages, I just mean having an overlay in general.

I've always preferred overlays so stuff like chat/webcams/vtuber models won't block the game. But every big streamer I see these days, they have no overlay and just put everything over the game blocking half of it. It's not for me, but I wonder if my opinion is against what the norm has become and I should get rid of my overlay on my own stream?

Or am I just overthinking it?

Help matching a shader/settings on a model?

Sorry if this isn't a good place to ask, but I'm really not sure what else to do here.

So I'm a vtuber, using unity for my models, the first picture is what my model currently looks like, and the 2nd picture is what it used to look like. I had someone help me with unity settings a long time ago, and I can't seem to replicate this look of the 2nd picture with the unity settings.

Are there any experts monitoring this sub that would have a recommendation on this sort of thing?

A meme about bows in Fire Emblem

Bows have been good for over a decade now people need to get past the GBA brainrot.

Very surprising how often I've seen this notion.

Why did this delivery pay so much??

Customer didn't tip and it was only 3 miles, but uber paid $19 for it. In all my days with this app I've never seen this happen, usually they only pay $2, was it declined a lot by other drivers or something?

Definitely not complaining just confused.

I Completed My First Corrin-Only Lunatic Ironman in Fates Conquest

Final Death Count: 28 Corrins

My twitch chat and discord community submitted custom characters that I save edited into the game, this is commonly known as a "Corrinquest" run if anyone doesn't know. It was a very fun and interesting experience going through conquest, at some points it was easier (I didn't have a single death until chapter 11), at other points it was harder. Conquest is so tightly tuned that specifically NOT having the tools the game intends you to have makes certain maps really challenging!

The biggest death count was on chapter 23, takumi's wall.

Hanneman Three Houses Dancing To Rainbow Beat

Recording B-roll for my Hanneman character analysis video (he's the best) and remembered I commissioned a model of him like 6 years ago, so sharing this here while I work on the analysis. Enjoy the silly goober.

What's the most effective Corrin marriage reclass you've done in fates?

This is mine. The stats might not seem crazy, but remember her personal skill does +4 damage when the enemy can't counter, and quick draw on top of that, as the bow name implies, adds +8 damage total to every attack she does since 90% of enemies don't have ranged weapons.

This has been crazy fun, I've only had to patch up her speed, and she has more bulk than most kinshi knights. Goes very hard, I do recommend it.

I made a new player guide for anyone starting 3 Houses for the first time or returning

Gives a guideline for every character if needed and goes over all the early mechanics so no one can get confused, hope it helps someone.

It's funny how much the FE: Fates meta has changed over the years

Most fire emblem games, people figure stuff out pretty quickly, but with fates in particular, comparing discussions from 7-8 years ago to today is completely different and it's kinda funny.

Most notable people appreciate Mozu a lot more, and just how powerful dual strikes are. People didn't really understand early game Silas either and how he's better/more bulky than paladin jakob when properly utilized, and almost no one used things like Sol Ninjas. People really had an obsession with heart sealing servant 1 ASAP as well when neither of them really need it and would rather get skills from a marriage usually.

Really the only thing that has remained consistent all these years in general discussions is that Xander and Camilla are OP.

What's something you've noticed that has completely changed with discussion around this game over time? Personally it's vindicating to see so much of this become common knowledge, I remember having to convince people of these things back in the day lol.

Is there a simple and consistent explanation for how fates kids stat inheritance works?

For reference I'm talking about straight up stat bonuses, not growths or anything like that.

I've seen so much conflicting information on this, one source said the parents have to be +8 in a stat above their base stats that they join with, and another source said the parents have to have BETTER stats than the child.

I'm testing with Rhajat's paralogue right now and she doesn't seem to get +1 to any of her stats no matter what changes I make, so I'm guessing promo bonuses and stat boosters don't effect it either.

Does anyone know?

Happy Birthday Kaden from Fire Emblem Fates!

Didn't see a post, so decided to make one. Today is kaden's birthday! Say something nice about him!

He's always been my favorite beast character in this series, he's just so whimsical and fun, even if he's arrogant it's not maliciously so and I love seeing him try to help people in his supports. Just wish Conquest hadn't done him so dirty.

Some of these words are "Haha, I'm in danger".

Is there any fire emblem title where you'd actually want to restart due to bad level ups?

A misconception I see a lot is that people think if they had really bad levels they have to restart the game. I know veterans know this isn't true, and I get that seeing your favorite character slowly became unuseable may not be fun, but I really struggle to think of any game in this series where you'd actually not be able to clear due to such a situation.

The closest thing I can think of is Path of Radiance on hard mode or maniac if your Ike didn't get enough speed to avoid ashnard doubling them, which is incredibly rare, and you'd also have to have wasted the resolve scroll to not give to Ena for this to hard lock you.

What do you think?
