New Vinyl Day! Vampire Survivors 2xLP Volume 1

I just had this show up in the mail and damn. It’s so beautiful that I had to share it. I paid $20 plus shipping for brand new on eBay of all places. Thanks for looking!

Dear Mods: Can we please put the kibosh on posts asking about commissions?

I’m tired of seeing endless posts in my feed from this sub asking about commission pricing or “how much should I sell my art for?”

I thought this sub was meant to find people to collaborate with, to converse with, and to enjoy the hobby with, not a barometer for gauging the commission market.

Few if any of these posts receive upvotes, and they just seem to be clogging the feed.

Feel free to add any thoughts, concerns, disagreements, discourse, etc.

I finally got a record player and made the jump to vinyl. Here are my first two VGM albums: Mondo’s Castlevania III and Minecraft Volume Alpha by C14.

Managed to find both new at Vintage Stock and I’m very excited to listen to both!

Edit: I just realized that autocorrect mangled C418’s name.

The Shining - Jack Torrance

Jack Torrance from Kubrick's "The Shining". I watched this movie the other night and paid extra attention to the body language and facial expressions this time. I decided to illustrate it as an exercise, and this is what I came up with. Thanks for checking it out!

Pg. 12 of The Field Guide To Unusual & Splendid Fauna: The Snoring Sleepy Toad

Discovered in the mountainous rainforests of Papua New Guinea in 1932 by Ernst Vernon Brackwater, the Snoring Sleepy Toad (Bufo somnolentus stertens) is a curious and hearty fellow.

Its discovery had done much to convince the renowned explorer and author that there are great and wonderous creatures to be found in all corners of the world. One just has to know where to look.

On E.V. Brackwater: Brackwater was an intrepid explorer during the 1930s interested in the wonderous and strange organisms residing in the hidden pockets of our world. He started an anthology called The Field Guide to Unusual & Splendid Fauna, filling its pages with sketches and information from his global travels.

I just found this subreddit. Here’s some of the stuff I’ve done over the last week or so!

My Better Half

A portrait I drew of my wife. It took a little over 10 hours, which I'm honestly surprised that I got it done that quickly.

Let me know what you think!

My Better Half

A portrait I drew of my wife. It took a little over 10 hours, which I'm honestly surprised that I got it done that quickly. I definitely struggled with showing volume in the hair because I wasn't always sure where to lay down the deepest shadows. The highlights in the hair were also tough for me to figure out.

I've included the final rendering, the sketch layer, and the linework layer.

Let me know what you think!

Self-Portrait 2026

Hi. Hello. It's me! I wanted to draw myself. I've included my sketch layer, my line layer, and the finished piece!

Lemme know what you think! Thanks!

I drew myself!

Hi. Hello. It's me. I decided to draw myself a profile picture. The thing I struggled with the most was my beard! I honestly couldn't get things to look right, but once I decided to trust the process, everything kind of just fell into place. Like always.

Thanks for looking!

Meet Malvex, a junior pact processor for the Nine Hells

I’ve recently gotten back into drawing, and I had a character concept that I couldn’t get out of my head.

I wanted a beleaguered clerk who hated his work life because of how mundane and tedious it was… IN HELL!

This is actually the centerpiece of what will eventually become a character concept sheet.

I’m really pleased with how this is coming along so far, and I’m looking forward to working on it some more in the days to come.

Lemme know what you think!
