In tape distorion/saturation How do you drive a tape without driving the input to it?
Or is it that what is being driven is the input to it, it’s just the distortion from the transistors and the tape is capturing that? And a mixer/solid state pedal/di could do the same thing.

Anyway of making Agave Nectar taste less like Tequila?
I love an afternoon Iced Tea but i’m sober now so i’m wondering what i can do to mask the bitter notes while maintaining the sweetness.
The recipe i’ve been trying is
1 large glass of water 1 lipton Black Tea bag Small amount of Agave (less than a teaspoon)

Trying to find a wallCharger to power an AK490 MidiPlus keyboard Mystery(failure?Lawsuit!? Probably not)
AK490 (not ak490+ which is confusing since the brand name is MiDiPLUS)
I don’t know what the deal with the power is. The manual says 6 AA batteries but that doesnt fit, 6 AAs doesnt fit vertically or horizontally. it’s sized for 7 C batteries but that didn’t work either. (Ordering more C Batteries in case mine were duds/discharged)
It’s powerable from a phone charger i tried (as in the vid below) but proceeds to quit being polyphonic about 20 seconds in so I unplugged it incase it’s overpowering/underpowering.
I’d like to just use the USB-in as the Power in instead of computer powering it. So i’m guessing a phone charger is too much or too little amps(?)
Working within a budget is hard 😅

JHS TWIN/SILVERTONE 1484 Pedal clone suggestions?
I had a JHS TwinTwelve but ended up memories attached to it. I miss playing the V1 but the sight of it reminds me of a tough time in my life.
Jackson’s silvertone seems a bit expensive (also are they kinda weird as a company? Idk)
Open to clones, trying to find something inexpensive…

Two maintenance Repair techs Later and still this knocking
The last tech left a washer out of the agitator portion.
Any advice greatly appreciated
This is a kenmore 500 Agitator dogs replaced. Cam shaft replaced. I love this washer, no wifi no screens just knobs. Worked like a charm for 30 years.
