#OTD in 1952, Maryland officially opened the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

Today, what once took hours by ferry takes about six minutes by car (traffic permitting) — and the Bay Bridge remains one of Maryland's most iconic pieces of infrastructure and defining landmarks.

This is in South Orange County, CA. Some notable great pricing includes local brats on sale for $4 each (1.25 lbs), $1.87/lbfor the chicken thigh/wing/legs, $2.3x/lb for assorted pork chop large pack, avocados are 60c each, organic strawberries $3.26.

Green onions and cilantro were a bit higher than usual, just around $1.
