Is the Jaylen Brown trade the worst trade since the Luka trade?

Obviously it’s not as bad as the Luka trade, don’t get me wrong, but is it the worst one SINCE that trade? WTF are the Celtics actually doing, they gave up Jaylen Brown for THAT???? I actually can’t believe it man lmfaoooo.

What’s one game in 49ers history that had a massive ripple effect in the NFL? Can be a game that the 49ers lost or a game that the 49ers won.

There are a tons to choose from for our franchise, but when I mean “ripple effect” I mean NFL history is changed a ton and how we view players/teams, if the result of said game is flipped. It can be any game, regular season or playoffs, but more specifically what’s one in our history that has a big “ripple effect”? I’m going to go for the 1984 regular season game vs the Steelers at home in week 7. The 49ers ended up going 18-1 in 1984, with this being their only L. So if they win this game, they end 1984 as a 19-0 undefeated team, and the 1984 49ers would be widely viewed as the greatest team in NFL history in this scenario.

What game would you choose?

As crazy as it sounds, Haliburton hitting that game tying shot last year vs the Knicks in game 1 of the ECF might be why the Knicks are the NBA Champions right now and not the Pacers

Allow me to explain.

Lets say Haliburton misses that shot and the rest of that series goes the same (which I admit is a big assumption) then it means we have a game 7 at MSG with the series tied 3-3, and there’s a good chance that the Knicks win that game and make the 2025 NBA Finals with Thibs.

From there, it’s not unfair to assume that the Knicks last year push the Thunder to 7 like the Pacers did, but still fall short.

Then in this scenario, there’s no way Dolan fires Thibs after being one win away from winning the title, which means the Knicks never hire Mike Brown last year.

For the Pacers? Since they get eliminated in the ECF, this means that the Haliburton injury in game 7 of the Finals never happens like in real life.

So the Pacers after losing back to back ECFs, still make some moves in the offseason and still probably trade for Zubac at the trade deadline with a healthy Haliburton.

Then the ECF in this scenario is likely the Knicks with Thibs vs an upgraded Pacers team with a healthy Haliburton, and the Pacers would probably end up winning this series in 6 games, since Mike Brown is a much better coach than Thibs, who never utilized the bench in the playoffs.

This means we get a Pacers Spurs Finals, and I’d like this upgraded 2026 Pacers team to defeat Wemby and the inexperienced Spurs in 5 or 6 games, like how the Knicks just did.

Thoughts? Is this a massive reach? Maybe it is, but I just thought of the potential interesting ripple effects that Haliburton missing that shot might have had on the Knicks, Pacers, Thunder, Spurs, Haliburton, Thibs, Mike Brown, and the NBA as a whole.

What would be the NFL equivalent to this play?

Personally I would say if a team was up 8 in the Super Bowl with a minute left and all they had to do to seal it was convert a 3rd and 5, since the opposing team only has 1 timeout left, and they get the first down with a pass play, but then instead of going down immediately, the WR tries to make a move to get more yards for no reason, he fumbles, the team down 8 gets the ball back, scores a TD and 2 point conversion to send it into OT, and then they win.

Thoughts?

Seeing blocked and muted accounts tweets on the search bar and timeline

I cannot see how many likes each tweet has (some are blank when I know in fact they have tons of likes) and I see blocked/muted accounts tweets on the timeline and on search results. Any way I can contact Twitter support to ask them to fix this?

If not, are there any free extensions or apps on the App Store that solve this problem?

In these playoffs so far, the Spurs have a home record of 6-5, they have a road record of 7-3.

In round 1 vs the Blazers, the Spurs went 2-1 at home and 2-0 on the road.

In round 2 vs the Wolves, the Spurs went both 2-1 at home and on the road.

In the Western Conference Finals vs the Thunder, the Spurs went 2-1 at home and 2-2 on the road.

In these Finals now vs the Knicks, so far the Spurs have gone 0-2 at home and 1-0 on the road.

Interesting a young team like the Spurs are playing better on the road these playoffs than at home.

What is the NBA equivalent to PSG winning the UCL 2x in a row after Mbappe left?

For anyone who doesn’t watch Soccer, Mbappe is a top 5 player in the World, he played for PSG for a while, and in the UCL (which is the biggest trophy in club Soccer) they made the semi finals countless times with him and made the UCL Final in 2020 with him but lost to Bayern Munich 1-0.

Then in 2024, he left to join Real Madrid, and then Real Madrid haven’t win any trophies since he joined, after they won the UCL 2x in 3 years before he joined, in 2022 and 2024. Meanwhile PSG have won the UCL 2x in a row ever since he left them, they beat Inter Milan 5-0 in the UCL Final last year, and just beat Arsenal on Penalties in the UCL Final today.

What is the NBA equivalent of this? I feel like a good NBA quote to sum this up would be “the dynasty starts after you” quote that Draymond Green said to Dillon Brooks back in 2023.

Thoughts?

Before anyone replies with the “Thunder have won a championship now and not then” yeah because they played Haliburton in the Finals instead of prime LeBron, D-Wade, and Bosh.

Before anyone gets upset, I’m not absolving Jokic of any blame this series, he was bad outside of game 5 and maybe game 6. But trying to discredit his entire playoff career now is silly af.
