One thing i dont understand is why were the seven warlords even considered 1 of the 3 great powers that maintained balance? Cause apart from mihawk nobody else stands a chance against yonkos or admirals. Was it just marine propaganda?

Im honestly leaning towards it being propaganda by marines to make it look like they were doing the right thing by allying with them.

So what's up with his hair? How long does it take to return to the silver colour?

Shouldn't his hair be changing back to silver by now? Or were the showrunners and writers actually dumb enough to let this be his actual canon hair colour? Surely these experienced adult writers are wise enough to see that the fake Daeron silver hair dye or whatever kid subplot, is stupid otherwise right?

Is this sub just for hating? Or can we like the good parts of the show too?

I get it, the season is a poor one. But a lot of Aegon, Gwayne, Ormund stuff been good.

Does anybody else feel we almost never get great movies anymore? Even the ones that seem like they'll be great going in turn out overhyped

I just feel like actual great movies don't happen anymore. Maybe you get 1 every few years and that is it. I just saw a new movie within a genre that I grew up liking, and it was a letdown. A lot of people online are going crazy over it and it is already a commercial success. But I'm like "Is this really what we have come to now? Where even something of this level gets this type of praise?" Maybe it is burnout from certain types of movies or maybe I need to rewatch the old ones to see if my mind is warping how good they were. Or maybe these movies now just suck. I don't know...

Anybody else notice the pronoun thing in this series?

I think this may be the 1st series where "they" is used at all times. Never "he/him" or "she/her" when referring to the digimon.

I watched the movie now & it really wasn't a bad movie

I do not know why this was so hated or why it flopped. I can be a harsh critic, which is part of why I delayed watching this. But after seeing it, it was a solid film. It is probably the best dc movie I have seen since the last Batman movie.

Episode 6 & I am still unable to turn my brain off so I got some questions/ rant for you all

First off, Rhaenyra is proving to be the stupidest adult monarch I can recall ever seeing on any live action show. And it is not like she was set up to be a clown or someone with a mental condition. She is supposed to have a base line of common sense and yet she somehow makes the wrong decisions 95% of the time. How does sending Alicent to Aemond make any sense at all?

Second off, the military men in this season have no clue how to setup a perimeter or scouts or anything of the sort. Corlys meeting a stranger randomly alone and then said stranger had a group of assassins that he apparently did not hear or notice. What tf is Corlys doing?

Rhaena, now is when you finally figured you want to see your sister? Now? That never crossed your mind before? There was no previously better opportunity to even call out to your sister? This is the first chance you got?

Jeyne Arryn, either you know you exist in a verse written by fools, or you have a level of bravery bordering on stupidity. You banished Rhaena away out of your presence, then sent for her, then put your hands on a dragonrider that happens to be the daughter of the king consort, who is also a dragonrider and arguably the most dangerous man currently alive?

Mysaria, I have defended you earlier in the season. But it is clear now the writers have no idea what to do with your character at all.

Alicent, I feel the same way about you now that I felt about Cole. Love the actress Olivia. But get this character off my screen as she only just there to fill up screen time

It does seem like show lore is implying dragonriders can have passengers. This makes Hugh's wife a moron because they could have come up with a way to bring her and the couple family members she is talking about outside of Tumbleton if they had half a brain. Instead she wants to stay to potentially give us more r*** scenes.

Baela and.... Alyn? Weren't they setting up Baela with Addam a week or so ago? What TF is going on???!!!

The one good character that is magically immune to bad writing or pure stupidity all round, is Gwayne all the time and Daemon some of the times.

“I am no man, I’m just a big baby. Wah wah wah. Both the queens just used me like a piece of meat so now I’m sad and want to die. I’m gonna build a raft or just swim across this 40ft river watch me die wahh.”

Honestly tho, every episode I wait for his death. His story is by far the most boring.

Anybody knows where or how to see a replay of the world cup final online?

The streaming sites I know of are only showing live feed so now there is nothing. I want to see a replay of the game.

Question for whoever watched the Prestige movie

2 questions actually. #1 why did Cutter seemingly just betray Angier towards the end of the movie? Lets assume that he knew it was a double/ twin that Borden had the whole time, it still shouldn't paint Borden as some sort of saint because both him and Angier did terrible things and caused terrible things. Also Cutter would know that one Borden died so... he let through the other one... to kill the last Angier...? I don't get his character's actions specifically because it seems so confusing. If his motive was "Angier is sending a man to his death for a crime he did not commit and taking his daughter away so I no longer care for him" but then you let the twin kill Angier and take the daughter. Like why not just allow the Borden to take the child and let Angier go through with his retirement/ destruction of the device or whatever?

#2 What tf happened with Olivia, ScarJo's character? This character is another one that was confusing the whole film. She "loved" Angier, he sent her to Borden, then she "loved" Borden but then left him and left the film too, right when she basically had him to herself.

Thoughts on the 3rd place game concept

So the English coach apparently said his players and the French players do not want to play this game. And as much as how sometimes these games are more exciting than the final, this year I fully agree with this 3rd place thing being a waste of time. I personally would want them to discontinue the 3rd place game at the world cup. Let the teams who have lost the semis go back home. Mentally and logically, they should not be sticking around after already knowing they are not the 2 best teams left. France been to 2 straight finals with this core of Mbappe, they literally have no business or interest at all in playing a pathetic 3rd place game. England also do not want to play in it again, especially in the manner they lost.

I'd like to see somebody just boycott the whole thing and see if FIFA keeps it still the following year. Playing to see who is the best loser is ridiculous. I do not even want to watch that game and I love football. Its just padding the run time.

Is Rhaenyra so disconnected from the kingdom, that she doesn’t know the smallfolk are illiterate?

She makes a huge deal about this graffiti, when most people can’t even read it. They’re are medieval peasants, most don’t have a need to read.

We saw in this same episode, both the fact that Ulf read to him by somebody else, and that Larys markets his ability to read as a plus when playing the part of a peasant.

And apparently, at this point in time, not even all of the nobles can read within the show universe. Borros Baratheon was depicted in the first season having to have his maester read from him, though I suppose you could alternatively speculate that he was personally dyslexic.

But still, she has a complete overreaction lol

Like she has the entire neighborhood terrorized, when there might be only like three people who know how to read, but reading and writing were taught completely separately back then.

So you can easily deduce who’s the vandal was, unless Corlys painted it on the way out lol

Does anybody else feel the Rhaena - Rhaenyra - Daemon thing is empty?

As in it feels like a way too quick escalation in the character for who Rhaenyra has been on the show. They are trying to sell us that Rhaenyra is now seeking vengeance for whoever was riding Sheepstealer but there are so many things wrong with this whole thing that it got me confused af.

1: Rhaenyra did not say initially that Sheepstealer + rider killed Jace. She basically said that a result of the chaos that Sheepstealer + rider caused, Jace lost focus, flew low, then had all those arrows put through him. Plus Rhaenyra was not there so she is going off of second and third hand info.

2: and this is what pisses me off because this is the very important elephant in the room that the writers are not addressing and they're treating us like fools. SHOW RHAENYRA WOULD NOT JUST SENSELESSLY WANT TO KILL HER DAMN STEPDAUGHTAAAAA. They are making it seem like this version of Rhaenyra is some vicious bloodthirsty woman that cannot be reasoned with or anything, so Rhaena has no other option other than to fly away and live in exile. We are skipping a lot of steps here. I don't get why even now it is not being brought up as an option. You claimed a wild dragon, you wanted to help, it went crazy, Jace noticed you were on it and stopped his attack, you fled, and then later on you heard Jace died. Just say that because from your POV that is the truth. This is why George has left the show and doesn't care for it. Sheepstealer should not be there and Rhaena should not be on Sheepstealer. Why? Because it is stupid.

Joffrey already told us

How many people actually believe Sunfyre is really dead? As much as how the show has made a lot of changes, one of the few things they absolutely cannot change involves Sunfyre for potentially season 4. This guy basically brought an end to main dance. So for sure he is not dead. I was on the fence about it before seeing this scene because previously they said he was rotting or something. But actually seeing it now, I even felt he would have opened his eyes right here after hearing Aegon. I think he wakes up either late this season or at some point next season.

Joffrey in Game of Thrones told us already.

Criston Cole is such a horrible character

I really hope he dies this season. He just continues to make bad move after bad move after bad move in leadership. He is going to lead his men to their deaths. Even ignoring sensible suggestions all because a rich girl rejected him. This fool gives real men a bad name. Get him off my screen!

I expected a better fight from Morocco honestly.

This has been one of the worst knockout games I have seen this worldcup. I knew France would win but thought it would be close.
