Recently been considering a ct4v but so many enthusiasts here post about their ct5’s absolutely raving about them.
Just curious for those who have owned both at one point or another , how do they compare aside from a larger back seat. Does one make a better daily than the other ? Pros and cons of one over the other ? As a true daily , any concerns ? Build

Strongly considering a ct4v BW, I currently live in NY, specifically in Westchester / New Rochelle area. I commute to Long Island 2x weekly (non rush hour) and Scarsdale. I know I love the car (test drove ) however, can’t help but wonder how much fun I will have as they say “it’s more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow “
Am I going to be able to enjoy this thing ? Or am I just excited for a new toy that I won’t be able to use properly …
Currently in a VW golf R and strongly considering a ct4v BW as well as an M3. Was initially going new 2026 for the BW , however, am open to used if the savings is worthwhile. Can’t afford new M3.
For those of you who moved from German engineering to a BW or visa versa, what has your experience been, likes and dislikes , long term ownership and general daily drivability experience. I’m in the northeast and will daily this car, throw winter tires on in the cold months.
I’ve watched quite a few videos on you tube and they all rave about the driver experience for the BW which is a big draw for me. I understand the M3 has faster straight line speed and better quality interior.

In the market for an ITS. Recently was at a dealer for a test drive but it was lackluster and short . Decided to rent an ITS on Turo for 48 hours and get a proper feel for my lifestyle , commute. Anything I should know about the car , anything to push for fun or lookout for to get the most out of the experience?
In my golf I had to buy 18’s as the 19s rode poorly, is this a concern with the ITS ? I currently drive a 2024 Golf R 6mt, it’s fun but missing some rawness that I’m hoping to find in the Integra.
I live in Westchester NY. Commute using highway 3x weekly and the other two days are mostly backroads. Will need to fit a golf bag in the trunk and occasionally take my dog and girlfriend out for joy rides. Any and all feedback is appreciated!
Recently started scoping out some local dealers willing to sell a NEW 2026 ITS for $50k , is this a good price ? What have people been paying ? Also, are there any hidden fees I should look out for or make sure to negotiate upfront ? Currently driving a Golf R but slightly underwhelmed by the fun factor , transmission (6mt) is meh despite some upgrades and the steering could be a bit more lively . Also, how is this car in the winter ? She will be a daily

Has anyone here upgraded to the Holyshift shortshifter kit and not been a fan ? At first I liked it but it may just be a bit too notchy for me for casual street / daily use. If anyone has had this experience, did you switch to another short shifter kit ? If so, which ?. Just curious about options and different experiences people have had with different kits. I was casually driving and all of a sudden every possible error code starts going off in my car one after another , every light on the dash went off, ESC error, suspension, check engine , lane assist, and so many more, you name it and it went off . My rom became limited to 3500 . Eventually I got to a stop light , turned my car on and off. It was like nothing ever happened. Fast forward a week later the exact same thing happened again. Brought it into the dealer and they are telling me they found an error with spark plugs which I had replaced a month ago and car was running fine . This problem screams electrical and think the dealer is incompetent. Has anyone has this happen and if so, what’s the solution ? Thanks in advance !
