I've made a custom Gamemaster for PVPoke containing all the announced move updates! (+ Some first impressions!)

Hey everyone! So after the new move updates for Twilight Trails have been announced, I've decided to put it upon myself to make a custom Gamemaster for PVPoke implementing all these changes!

Now, most of the move changes here are merely speculative, as we don't know the exact energy changes some of these moves will have, so don't take most of these speculative move changes as fact.

As for what I think are the biggest winners of this update so far:

- Vigoroth is the biggest winner to me with buffed Scratch and the reworked Bulldoze, rising up from the ashes and potentially becoming meta again. It's super spammy and could flip certain matchups with Bulldoze's now guaranteed defense drop. I honestly predict this ape is going to be the next Lickilicky, and people are gonna complain about how broken it is XD

- Toxapex is the runner up, now acting as a water type Corviknight now with Bite potentially becoming a Sand-Attack clone, as well as Brine's rework. Being able to spam out it's nuke moves faster with Bite will make it a threatening contender for this season's meta.

- Defense Deoxy's is back to it's former glory, with Psycho Boost gaining a increase in power and it getting access to Low Kick, being able to spam out it's attacks again.

- Alolan Muk has a pretty good chance at becoming meta now, it would mostly want to run Bite/Brutal Swing/Sludge Wave if you want the most success with it next season, though I won't discourage those who want to run it with the newly added Ice Punch. Alolan Muk's spam along with it's unique typing and stab moves make it a serious contender for Drapion's spot.

- Ursaluna FINALLY has a chance at being a Master League staple after being robbed of Shadow Claw. Scratch makes Ursaluna spammier and due to the energy decrease of High Horsepower, it can now be able to get to it's charge moves a lot quicker and dish out a good amount of damage against the meta.

- Snorlax gets Psywave which is a upgrade from the underwhelming Lick, as Psywave can make Snorlax a lot faster and spammier. Players also have the option to run it with Earthquake to give it a better time against Ghost Types (outside of Drifblim). I don't think it'll outshine Vigoroth in Great League, though I do see it fulfilling Lickilicky's spot in Ultra League and maybe have a breakout in Master League.

As for where you can get my custom gamemaster, I've made a custom Drive link for the TXT for you to download, go to PVPoke and go to the Gamemaster editor. Go ahead and give it a try!

Is it normal for you guys to get replacement pieces for your Mixels incase the parts get cracked?

Just noticed earlier that my Volectro has some cracked bits on some of their parts, so I might get replacement parts so for them just in case.

Considering how mixel parts are really old at this point and time, is it normal for your guys to get replacement pieces for them incase they get cracked like this?

I’ve managed to hit legend yesterday!

Finally found a good consistent team for me and got my 8th legend!

I’ll admit this team isn’t perfect as it struggles against electric types like, H-Electrode, Charjabug, and maybe Forretress with Volt Switch. But besides those guys, this team had a decent time against this seasons meta!

I know I got other stuff to do, but GBL has been too baked into my DNA at this point to have me quitting for good LOL, I am obsessed with GBL.
Really looking forward to next seasons move changes?

Lost Messyourself videos (House Party and Don't Look Away challenge)

3 months ago, Messyourself suddenly deleted almost all his videos, don't wanna go in depth as of why. But as of recently, almost all of his videos suddenly popped back up on his channel, except for a large handful.

Having trouble with getting RPS’d + how do I play around this?

I’ve been noticing a bunch of fire and ground type leads lately, especially ground types like Marowak and Torterra.

My team consists of Tinkaton lead, Kingdra, and a random 3rd Pokemon, I’ve been having trouble with deciding who’s the best 3rd Mon for my team so I kinda just keep switching around.

I just keep having trouble with beating these RPS ground teams because the moment I get into my safe swap, they often have something that completely counters my switch which makes the game even harder to beat. One team consisted of Marowak/Tinkaton/Thievul, which completely counter my line in the 2nd image, this just feels targeted -_-

And before you tell me to swap to another team to adapt, I can’t. It’s mostly because I’m worried I might get countered by new problem mons, and I really wanted to use Tinkaton to its full potential since I kinda doubted it in the past.

What should I do to better my matchups against these RPS teams?

How can I port a GBA save over to my PC? (+ other options)

Hey there, I've been recently doing a nuzlocke on Pokemon Firered, and playing on the GBA is kinda a miserable experience due to one problem, the lack of backlights.

It almost makes the game impossible to see even in brighter environments. So I am presented with a little conundrum.

  1. I could get one of those adaptors you can plug in your GBA cartridges into and connect to your computer to backup the save there. It's much cheaper and there's a chance I could port that save over to my 3DS, though it might be risky.

  2. I could upgrade and buy a GBA SP with a backlight. It's much more expensive, but it might give me a better gaming experience and I don't have to risk destroying my save trying to back it up using a program.

Which one should I choose? Are there any stores I could use with the best deals and products?

Follow up to “Bought a New 2DS XL from Amazon, got a book instead?”

Surprise surprise, I finally got my 2DS XL!
I decided to your guys word and buy a 2DS XL from eBay, and it arrived in less than 4 or 5 days after purchase, best of all, it’s the actual 2DS!

It is region locked to Japanese, but I’ll get that sorted out in no time!
As for my refund, it’s still pending, to recap I’ve repackaged the book and went to staples to put the labels on it, before dropping it off a shopper to get it sent back!

Last thing to ask, I’m genuinely curious, should I actually purchase that Borrowed Time book and read it myself?

Ordered a 2DS XL from Amazon, got a book instead???

I’ve recently ordered a 2DS XL on the 15th of this month as a early birthday present since I needed a replacement for my old DS, and it was supposed to come in today.

When I finally got the package, I instead got this… book??

Either there was a mixup in shipping or the seller was trolling, I don’t know, but I think I am not gonna buy retro game stuff from Amazon anymore.

Now I’m heading downtown to get the return label on the box so I could get a refund, I probably should’ve done some research first before buying recklessly on Amazon ):

Update: I've just dropped off the package after going to staples to have the return stuff imprinted on it and now I received a email that's been saying I'll get my 500+ dollars back within 30 days, which is really good to know. Thanks for your guy's support, I might purchase a new 2DS XL later down the line on a different site since I have enough money to afford one, wish me luck!

Update 2, Electric Boogaloo: I decided to take yall words and bought myself a 2DS XL on Ebay using the new money I've been sent today! I'll make a follow up post once I get the 2DS XL in the mail, cheers!
