I am surprised audio is fixed on SteamOS.

After months of strong reluctance on reinstalling SteamOS, due to a disappointing first experience, I found that Valve actually fixed the audio. Since when??

I mean, the sound is coming loud from the speakers, just like on Windows. Last week I moved from Bazzite to Windows because of this and the buggy interface.

I know SteamOS is lacking Handheld Daemon but there are probably some alternatives to explore.

And before anyone judges this post as another SteamOS glazing, I actually left negative comments and downvotes about it last week.

How good is the 2021(5900HS/16GB) for music production?

Looking for anecdotal recounts as well if possible. I mean for plugging in audio interfaces with guitar or bass, and also produce minimal techno or ambient music.

List of the most popular video games ever made in Europe

This is a list I compiled over the course of several weeks, I tried to include everything from AAA titles to indie ones, from old classics to mobile games for smartphones, in the end my only requirement was to be popular enough. For mobile games in particular I was way more exclusive and generally put them towards the end of the various lists

I also add that I always used the country where the game was developed, but in some cases they were then published by American or Japanese companies. In Ubisoft's case instead I did the opposite and put everything under France, but their titles were often jointly developed with the various subsidiaries from all over Europe and the world

Number of hours needed to buy GTA VI

Grand Theft Auto 6 is the next highly anticipated entry in the legendary series from Rockstar Games, scheduled for release on November 19, 2026. The game is set in the fictional state of Leonida, inspired by Florida, with a focus on Vice City, and it follows the story of two protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, in a modern world saturated by social media and influencer culture.

The latest instalment of Rockstar Games' biggest ever franchise, costs $79.99, with a more premium edition costing $99.99. However, the true economic cost of this title varies drastically depending on the buyer's location. By calculating the cost of the game converted into local currency and dividing it by the average net hourly wage in each respective country, it is possible to analyze the number of work hours required to finance such a purchase across Europe. This metric allows for a comparison of the purchasing power of residents across the continent by relating earnings to the unit price of the product.

When examining these disparities, Luxembourg stands out as the most accessible market, requiring only 1.61 hours of labor to afford the title. In contrast, Ukraine sits at the opposite end of the spectrum, where the average worker must put in 31.12 hours to secure the same game. While the time required to accumulate the necessary funds is relatively low in nations with higher economic output, this figure increases significantly in eastern regions, illustrating substantial inequalities in access to digital goods.
