ordered this poke bowl, but the raw tuna smelled and tasted a little fishy

hello, i’m asking and i’m concerned because due to health issues i need to be especially careful about food. today i got this poke bowl from a place that makes incredibly delicious bowls, and this time it was delicious too, aside from the tuna.

salmon was totally fine, but the tuna was slightly more fishy than usual. i did not swallow it and spit it out, discarded all the rest of the tuna as well just to be safe.

however, i still ate around it, and i’m wondering if the food all around is safe even if it touched the suspicious tuna?

i would also love to know opinions about whether or not the tuna looks harmful or sounds harmful in general. thank you so much

White peas?

Hi there, found some peas with white skin in this pre-made commercial cantonese rice. Not expired, always kept in the fridge. I was wondering if these peas were safe to eat? Would love some help, thank you!

hey i’m just really lonely and i miss my parents. can i have an hug?

this is gonna sound so embarrassing. i’m sorry. i’m technically considered a grown ass woman at 22 but i still feel like i haven’t grown at all. i moved alone one year ago and i miss my mom. i have quite some problems that make me unable to go outside. i talk with no one irl and many times at night i feel extremely sad, i would just want an hug or some warmth

thank you in advance

Is this walnuts and peaches cake unleavened? Is it dangerous to eat?

Cake baked for one hour at 180 degrees by my mom, yesterday. It appears very dense and dark

i don’t know how often it happens, but i found out my fridge gets warmer (up to 42 degrees fahrenheit) at night

Hello there, I’m asking here because I just did some grocery shopping and I do NOT want to throw everything I bought.

I put this indoor thermometer in the fridge yesterday before midnight, and today when I woke up, I discovered the fridge got warmer at around 4am, up to 6 degrees celsius / 42 degrees fahrenheit, which as far as i know it’s not safe for food?

I am really careful about my safety but I also don’t want to throw money away. I’m chronically ill and some food poisoning could genuinely kill me. I would love some advice / why on earth is this happening?

I want to also note that I’m living in a rented apartment for now. Thank you so much for the eventual help

Just found out that dyed orchids are a thing, and that my first ever orchid was dyed… 💔

Had this beauty for months, loved her to death, and I’m at this point pretty sure it was dyed? It’s such a pity. Not because I’m disappointed it’s actually white, but because I don’t see the point in it at all. Doesn’t it hurt the plant?
