I don’t know about you guys, but as a 44-year-old myself, seeing this makes me feel grateful I gave up smoking 20 years ago (and drinking 6 years ago).
It finally happened 😁
Found a working (if a tad yellowed) Casio SK-1 Sampling Keyboard at my local GW yesterday. This model was released in 1985 and launched something of a mini revolution for at-home sampling. Looking forward to fiddling with this.
We absolutely fucking suck.
We suck long.
We suck hard.
We can’t stop sucking.
We can’t start not sucking.
We were born to suck.
We were put on this earth to suck.
Wait, no, not we.
YOU 🫵 suck, John.
I worry he may have borrowed his last feeling 😥
Swapped it with my Onkyo surround receiver and it sounds great. Fucker is LOUD—I have to keep the dial almost to zero to play at a normal volume. Anyone have experience with this model?
Ok, so obviously this is an opinion post, but to any lingering ball snobs out there who wouldn't be caught dead with a Kirkland in their bag, just hear me out.
I've been playing the -ProV1x pretty much exclusively for the past year. I like a firmer ball that feels like I'm shattering glass with my driver when I square it up. The Left Dash gave me that readily, but at a steep price (~$5 a ball). I caved a few weeks ago and bought a box of Kirklands on a trip to Costco (2 dozen @ $29.99), because I read that the v3.5 corrected a lot of the issues people had groused about in past years. I have to say, I may like these even better. I haven't noticed any real loss in yardage (~280 carry w/driver), and I love the firmer feel, especially with crisp iron shots. I even like the feel on the green. And at $1.25 per ball, there's no comparison in terms of value.
Anyway, just my two cents.
